Kristi Munn entered the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. During a follow-up interview, the tipster reported that Kristi Munn and other members of her family traveled from Texas to Washington, D.C. for the rally that occurred on January 6, 2021. The tipster provided two screenshots of Kristi Munn’s Facebookaccount and six screenshots of Kristi Munn’s Snapchat account, which the tipster had seen posted to Kristi Munn’s accounts. The display name on the Facebook account is “Kristi Marie Munn” and the display name on the Snapchat account is “Kristi Munn.”

Facebook screenshots provided by the tipster was a post of a photograph of Kristi Munn and five additional individuals who were “tagged” in the post as Facebook users Tom Munn, Dawn Munn, Kayli Munn, Minor Child 1 (MC1), and Josh Munn.1 According to Facebook, when you tag someone, you create a link to their profile. Kristi Munn added text to the photograph…“

I am going out on a limb —I don’t this this will be the MUNN Family picture on this year’s Christmas Cards. I mean maybe they could photoshop out the DC scenery. I still can’t wrap my head around why the parents brought their minor child with them.

You went on social and media humble bragged. Puffing your chest out like your literally lead to your family being charged. And call me petty but sweetie no there is nothing glamorous about your Insurrection Pics - like nothing - you are an unpatriotic <insert slang for female dog>

The other Facebook screenshot provided by the tipster was a post of a photograph of Kristi Munn, which appears to be taken outside with other protestors in the background. Kristi Munn added text to the photograph: “January 6th 2021… God Bless The USA.”

The fact you proactively provided Law Enforcement with numerous screen shots, I genuinely mean this —I can’t imagine how hard it was for you —but like millions of other Americans I am genuinely grateful that you did the right thing.

Kristi’s SnapChat too

The tipster provided six Snapchat screenshots from Kristi Munn’s Snapchat account that were posted on January 6, 2021, to her Snapchat Story. Information at the top of the screenshots indicates that the photographs were posted to the account bearing the name “Kristi Munn.” Based on my training and experience, it appears the screenshots were taken near the U.S. Capitol. The Snapchat screenshots are included below in Figures 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.

Oh sweetie you Deleted your Facebook too?

Not only did Defendant Kristi Munn delete her Facebook Account but her other family members did not. Worse yet? You brought a “minor child” with you, as you and your family ransacked our Capitol. Pretty sure that disqualifies you for Parent of the Year, in perpetuity.

“..in a post from December 28, 2020, Tom Munn posted an image on Facebook that included the text: “POTUS HAS REQUESTED YOUR ATTENDANCE WASHINGTON DC JANUARY 6TH 2021.” He added the text, “Our President has only asked two things from us, so far... #1 Vote #2 January 6, 2021.”

In a post from January 2, 2021, Tom Munn posted an image on Facebook that included the text, “MARCH ON CONGRESS JAN 6TH 7 AM at US Capitol.” He added the text, “The time has come!” A screenshot of the post is shown below in Figure 10

In a post from January 5, 2021, Tom Munn wrote, in part: “We made it to our hotel just outside DC … 1,600 miles in 24 hrs!”

I have nothing constructive to say or add because I’m trying to wrap my head around how an entire family can become this radicalized and thinks Donald Trump “invited them to DC” and that assaulting hundreds of law enforcement officers. Some how makes you “patriotic” spoiler it doesn’t it make you a fully indoctrinated QANON-MAGA-CULT member.

January 6, 2021, Tom Munn posted a photograph of himself with five additional individuals on Facebook. It appears the photograph was taken outside the U.S. Capitol near a crowd of protestors. Four of the five other individuals in the photograph were tagged as Facebook users MC1, Josh Munn, Kayli Munn, and Dawn Munn. Excerpts from Tom Munn’s post include: “Made it back to the hotel about an hour ago … Have lots of pics and video to follow… the DC police opened up on a small group climbing the scaffolding, with gas grenades … The only damage to the capital building was several windows and sets of doors. Nothing inside the capital was damaged. I can tell you, patriots NEVER made it to the chamber. There was no violence in the capital building, the crowd was NOT out of control . . . they were ANGRY!!!”

January 6, 2021, Kelsi Munn posted five photographs on Facebook, one of which is the same photograph Tom Munn posted on January 6, 2021 (identified above as Figure 12). Excerpts from Kelsi Munn’s post include: “These women stormed OUR capital and demanded OUR House and Country back!!!! They did not brake [sic] burn threaten swear push touch or hurt another American there today but they damn sure made their voice hear [sic]!!!”

FBI agents conducted numerous interviews

All three interviewees taught some of the MUNN children (high school and college) and had met with Mom and Dad…all three positively identified the five MUNN family members.

I interviewed three individuals who are familiar with one or more members of the Munn family and their appearances. During the interviews, I showed each interviewee screenshots from videos some of which are discussed in this Statement, that depicted Kristi, Tom, Dawn, Josh, and Kayli Munn inside the U.S. Capitol building.

MUNN Family Facebook Accounts

JFC they took one of their Minor Children (MC1) with them to the Capitol and encourage them to brake a window (or two) and then used MC2 Facebook account to send messages, videos and pictures. What an incredibly horrible parenting decision. Furthermore the MUNN’s kept tagging other family members.

So I converted into a pdf and uploaded his account, found here -He repeatedly tagged in 4-8 members of his family on a variety of post -but his Jan 7th post is a full on QANON-MAGA Cult member brainwashed.

I proactively redacted one of the faces because I believe it is one of the two minor children (MC 1 and MC2) mentioned in the Affidavit (MC 1 see Affidavit pages 2, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 20 and 22. As for MC2 see affidavit pages 29 and 31)- to be clear MC1 actually went with the Five members of the MUNN family. MC2 did not go with the MUNN family, their mom used their Facebook account to send videos and post pictures. #ParentingFail - picture found on page 11 of the affidavit

Defendants Status as of July 13, 2021

JOSH MUNN was arrested and made his initial Appearance in the Western District of Wisconsin on the afternoon of July 13th. Josh MUNN was released but with conditions (WDWI-ECF . After a cursory review of his Facebook account - he clearly enjoys shooting and using a bow & arrow. I now refer you to page 2 of his Release Order & Restrictions - you can pull the order down from my public drive

KRISTI MUNN - was arrested in Borger, TX on July 13, 2021 —I assume without incident as I can’t find any public reporting to the contrary. Kristi’s Arrest Warrant Returned Executed on July 13, 2021. See DDC-ECF or you can pull it down from my public drive.

The other three defendants I can’t find any case info in the EDTX-ECF but that’s why I always look at the Court of Original Jurisdiction as in the DDC-ECF docket report and yes if you’re paying attention Josh currently lives in Minnesota whereas the rest of his family lives in Texas.

See the dates of warrants served to AT & T and Verizon? Yes Federal Law Enforcement sent warrants to both mobile telecommunication providers on January 6, 2021 -which was days before they received the first tip from a tipster.
