The soothing sounds of gentle waves - Sunset on the Sound. And the precise moment when the sun gently dips below the horizon

One day I am determined to capture the elusive green flash. Until then, I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. And immensely enjoying my time on the island.

For the record the Dr wasn’t joking. He did warn me that removing the packing from my nose would be hellish. It most certainly was. At one point I’m pretty sure the Dr thought I was going to throat punch him. (the thought did cross my mind a few times). He had to stop removing the packing from my left nostril because my eyeballs decided to start spontaneously sweating.

Holy mother of sweet sweet baby Jesus. I’m told that the throbbing should go away within a day or so or until I decided to chug the liquid pain meds. I still have 2 black eyes (more like deep purple and yellowish) but I think the worst of it — is now behind me. Praise da Lordt!
