House (finally) passes Emmett Till Antilynching Act, now on to the Senate
Yet three House Republicans voted Nay because they are the trifecta of white privileged and Representatives; Masse, Clyde, and Roy should be ashamed of themselves. Have you no decency?
67 very long years in the making…
In case you’re unaware of who Emmett Till was or one of Country’s most barbaric murder of a young, fourteen year old African American child. You can read more via this Library of Congress link found here, here or an essay found here, or the FBI case link. On August 28, 1955 Emmitt Till was lynched to death. Emmitt Tills’ murderers were later acquitted by an all white jury.

..records from the 1950 census will likely be released on April 1, 2022 —yet undeterred, I was able to track down the August 25, 1950 preliminary counts. However I’ve taken the liberty of embedding several US Census population count.
After taking a few more research swings. And bolstered by what appears to be my never ending thirst of providing my readers with original and publicly available documents -I manage to locate the 1950’s US Census Preliminary Count -demographically speaking being an African American in the South was pretty dangerous and arguably still is…
History has taught us that public lynchings; were violent, gruesome, and public acts of torture and murder by Caucasians on African Americans. Lynchings were undergirded by those individuals who’s motivation largely stemmed from their White Supremacy Ideology. Moreover public lynchings became an effective tool to both terrorize and control African Americans.
The algorithm of public lynchings; 1) involved an accusations of a crime, 2) the purported perpetrator was arrest, and 3) a crowd of individuals, . Lynchings tended to be public spectacles attended by the white community in celebration of white supremacy. Photos of lynchings were often sold as souvenir postcards.
The Antilynching Act passes the House
Sixty Seven years, 804 months, 3,484 weeks -a very and I mean very longtime
On January 4, 2021 Representative Bobby L. Rush introduced House Res. 55 colloquially known as the “Emmett Till Antilynching Act’’ - this specific antilynching bill was repeatedly introduced and re-introduced. At the time each of these House Resolution were sent to a House Committee. An important distinction, this will also amended 18 U.S.C. §249 Hate Crime Acts. H.Res. 55 reads in part:
SEC. 2. LYNCHING; OTHER CONSPIRACIES.
Section 249 (a) of title 18, United States Code,is amended by adding at the end the following: ‘‘(5) LYNCHING.—Whoever conspires to commit any offense under paragraph (1), (2), or (3) shall, if death or serious bodily injury (as defined in section 2246 of this title) results from the offense, be imprisoned for not more than 30 years, fined in accordance with this title, or both.
House Republican KKK-Caucus
Yet it took our Congress, sixty seven long years to finally pass a law that criminalizes lynching. Let that sink in, Emmitt Till was brutally murdered in 1955 but it took the House until February 28, 2022 to actually pass an “antilynching” law. See Roll Call Vote # 47 | Bill Number: H. R. 55
The three Members of Congress who voted Nay - once again prove how utterly loathsome these members of Congress really are. They are overt racist. The obsequious “felty” to Trump and by proxy Russia and Putin. These Republican members of Congress aka the “Trifecta of KKK” Caucus decided to vote against the antilynching act. And their rationale is not at all persuasive.
The historical data suggest that from Number of executions by lynching in the United States by state and race between 1882 and 1968 —the disproportionate brutal murders of them”ratio” of White and Black individuals lynched, the numbers are stunning. For Example:
Mississippi 1882 thru 1968; 42 White individuals —compared to 539 African Americans lynched
Georgia 1882-1968; 39 White individuals —compared to 492 African Americans lynched.
Texas 1882 thru 1968
;141 White Individuals —compared to 352 African Americans lynched
Again between 1882 and 1968 — it is estimated that more than 4,700 Individuals were murdered via lynching. When you further aggregate that data; of the 4,700+ total deaths, an estimated just under 3,500 were African Americans. Moving on to the three Larry, Curly and Moe of the House of Representatives… in no particular order of preference or superiority because in my book it’s a three-way bumpy ride on the “high wall to hell” descending into new levels of deep stupid.

House Ethics Committee regarding Rep Clyde’s violation of House Rules, see February 5, 2021 Fine Notification and February 8, 2021 Fine Notification in 2021 Rep Clyde racked up over $15,000 in fines for refusing to go through a metal detector. Please and Thank You in advance for your consideration…
Rep Massie (QANON-GOP KY-4th)

December 4, 2021 Tweet with Massie’s family posing with their firearms, less than 72 hours after the Oxford High School shooting, not only was that self aggrandizing Tweet in poor taste but it was absolutely tine deaf.

February 28, 2022 Rep Massie’s subterfuge twitter thread explaining his rationale for voting against the Antilynching “nay vote” —I mean Massie could have just started: Look I voted against H.Res. 55 because I’m a giant racist asshole and I should have never, ever taken that private plane with Gaetz. Because geolocation something something. Shittlestix was that with my out loud voice? <snort>
Rep Chip Roy (QANON-GOP TX-21st)
January 13, 2021 -for just a very brief moment Rep Chip Roy appeared to brake from Trump and other more ultra conservative members of Congress- President Donald Trump committed "impeachable conduct," but he would not vote to impeach the outgoing president
May 13, 202 Roy’s brief moment of patriotism clearly cost him dearly because “…Trump denounces Chip Roy's bid for U.S. House Republican leadership post: "He has not done a great job"…
See January 12, 2022 Rep Roy - in a hearing in which I asked him about the FBI’s abuse of power against parents. The AG refused to answer.
Or Rep Roy’s proclivity of amplifying disinformation, misinformation, and often times swimming in the QANON-pool of deep stupid. See February 1, 2022 Fact check: GOP Rep. Chip Roy twice promotes false online rumor about Canadian PM fleeing to the US
And lastly your daily dose of saltwater therapy.
Just a reminder that I’m likely going to be MIA until after COB. But for now I need to get in my car and drive down to the Capitol. Have a great day -Filey
DOJ task force dedicated to Russian Oligarchs and their crimes…
Just wondering if anyone else caught what President Biden said during his State of the Union address? Specifically President Biden, casually mentioned that there’s a newly unveiled task force to go after the crimes of Russian oligarchs.
I translated Mitch’s statement about Congressional members attending White Nationalist rallies: Mitch privately states: damn these fools. You don’t openly support white nationalists and go to their rallies. You do it in secret, like we’ve done for decades, dammit. When asked, you deny. Like I have always said, bringing women into the @gop races, would be our undoing.
"and I should have never, ever taken that private plane with Gaetz. Because geolocation something something. Shittlestix was that with my out loud voice?" “If it’s what you say, I love it, especially later in the summer." 😂😂😂
