James Allen Mels -Charged but let’s expand the files ...shall we?

Always and I mean always read every page of court filings...because the rabbit hole was pretty shallow and it required minimal research but boy was it worth it.

When Donald Trump sends his people, he’s not sending his best. Heretofore I am assigning nick-names to the Jan6th Defendants. Mainly because I am that petty, extra snarky and it’s something I’ve always done, albeit for those who have followed me on Twitter then you already know that I am predisposed to using very saucy names for files. It’s my jam - don’t judge me

District of Columbia (DDC) Case Number: 1:21-mj-223 - DOJ-OPA
Eastern District of Michigan (EDMI) Case Number: 2:21-mj-30071 (now transferred to DDC and EDMI -and now the MJ case closed). Sometimes I don’t understand the ECF or why Federal Prosecutors do this. The Complaint, Affidavit and arrest warrant were sent from DC to MI. Once the Defendant is in custody, then most of the time the sealed documents are then unsealed at the oral or written request of Prosectors. So it’s this kind of janky nonsense that I find nonsensical.
I digress (a lot)

Defendant Mels’ Charge(s): Knowingly Entering or Remaining in any Restricted Building or Grounds Without Lawful Authority; Violent Entry and Disorderly Conduct on Capitol Grounds

On January 7, 2021 the FBI received a tip, from a tipster (I don’t know why that makes me laugh but it does, every single time because it reminds me of the sloth just the tip meme) The tipster appears to have personally known Mels for years. Aforementioned tipsters learned from a mutual person that Mels was in Washington DC on January 6th and that Mels was inside the Capitol.

When Agents asked Mels (most using probative questions, which by are open ended and are specifically use questions for example

“why did you enter the U.S. Capitol?”…”who were you with” “how did you get here”, “what was the reason you came to DC” -In reading the Affidavit, it certainly appears Mels cracked in record time or Mels had

with the intent of speaking with an officer to present his copy of the U.S. Constitution and have his voice heard.

After the tipster provide FBI Agents with additional information, on January 25, 2021 FBI agents then conducted a noncustodial interview- in the parking lot of Mels’ residence. The defendant willingly proffered photographs on his cell phone. Moreover Defendant Mels allowed FBI agents to take pictures of the pictures stored on Mels’ cell phone.

Side note if you’re going to participate in a deadly insurrection, humble bragging to FBI agents and showing off the picture you took of yourself committing crimes. Probably the most intellectually stunted thing you can do. So many sad trombones.

And then Mels out did himself by willingly giving the FBI agents access to his cellphone. Defendant Mels’ then repeatedly confirmed to the Agents that yes he was at the Capitol. And then in he “accidentally” told the Agents that he and eleven (11) other “like minded patriots” traveled from Michigan to Washington D.C. And then voluntarily told the Agents where he met the other “like minded patriots” … enter “the Patriot hour” and “X-22”

PETITION for Transfer under Rule 5(c)(3) by United States of America as to James Allen Mels - ECF/PACER or via my Public Drive - after Mels made his initial appearance in EDMI. Mels was also released on a $10,000.00 unsecured bond.

Based on a preliminary view public Facebook account, Mr Andrews appears to have been in a pretty large group that rented an home (archived Facebook Post here) in the DMV (DC, MD, VA) area. Thomas T Andrews aka The Patriot Hour

Because the QANON-Darwinism award goes to Michael T Andrews -and based on the presentment of facts, the preliminary research confirms; Defendant Mels was an avid consumer of Andrews QANON and Trump’s “big lie”. Which contributed to Defendant Mels current criminal predicament. As to my AirBnB question - pay attention to the 1 minute marker in the video below.

In general I do not like to amplify known QANON disinformation, his YouTube channel is tango-down but I then cross referenced some of the metadata of various YouTube videos he posted (see PDF of May 2020 archive)

And then I cross referenced the P.O. Box and email listed -with a 99% degree of confidence I can conclusively state, Yes Mr Andrews owns this website too and it’s a straight up QANON-grift. Archived here and here

But a closer examination of Thomas Andrews (public facing) Facebook profile raises the following specter; is Andrews also accountable for the Jan 6th Insurrection? Between his various websites (go look at the comments and interactions) and those on his Facebook timeline, that liked or reposting the disinformation Andrews pushed. After reviewing those “friends” I was able to confirm that one of Andrews’ Facebook Friends was in fact charged. For the record that kind of research is tedious and time consuming. One advantage of scrutinizing Andrews’ Facebook Timeline is I found 2 individuals who are pictured on the FBI’s Seeking Information. And yes of course I already submitted my findings. Hence why I created this video and uploaded it to my YouTube Channel
