Remember when any other American president —in modern history- stole hundreds of classified documents? Yea me neither
A deeper dive into the current timeline of events, as we know it. And obviously subject to change with our prior notice.
The great indignation that the Biden Administration dared to reviewed Trump’s security clearance.
I’d like to refresh your memory all the way back to early February 2021. Thereafter, specifically on March 3, 2021 the Biden Administration issued the Interim National Security Strategic Guidance —for an average public servant obtaining the highest level of clearance is emblematic of the Government’s “trust” —because the greater the clearance does in fact equates to your trustworthiness.
Conversely unlike the déclassé Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump —the vast majority of “clearance” holders likely worked hard to earn their clearance. After an extensive background check the determination was made, that Jared Kushner “should not be granted” a Top Secret Clearance.
Again at the time both the FBI and CIA had various counterintelligence concerns. These agencies explicitly pointed to Jared’s (family business) of which some involved several foreign investors. But most importantly investigators articulated their grave and growing concern Jared’s ever changing testimony.

Which are traditionally afforded to formed POTUSs. In short in February 2021 Trump essentially lost his security clearance and I wish more reporters would add this fact nugget to the ongoing classified-document-gate. Again I’m not an expert on our Intelligence Community or Security Clearances, but it occurred to me in February of 2021 Trump effectively lost his security clearance and that tiny fact adds additional context to the ongoing criminal investigation. Perhaps I’m being naive. Or perhaps I’m getting lost in the tiny details. But if my observation is correct —I think it’s only a matter of time before we see this tiny fact in future government court filings. Again I could be wrong but I genuinely don’t think I am
The timeline as we currently know it;
Upon reading Trump’s filings, there’s a definitive pattern appearing -but below is an abbreviated timeline of events (as we know it and obvious subject to change if new facts are later elucidated. However I’m going to remind you, that I’ve repeatedly explained the importance of the January 19, 2021 letter Trump sent to the NARA. As previously explained that letter revised the names as to the custodian of the Trump Administration documents, pursuant to the Presidential Records Act (see NARA link to the aforementioned letter. Additionally I’ve explained the PRA was a post Watergate legislation as a check against an ethically challenged and unhinged executive.

I think I’ve crossed reference the previous administration’s records to Trump’s at least four times. Thus far Trump is the only POTUS to send an 11th Hour change in custodian letter to the NARA on the eve of his nightmare Administration’s necessary end. Some of you already know that if I constantly bring up a fact-nugget then that’s my way of literally screaming: “hey this is important and let me help you to understand it’s importance of it” —I still can’t understand why so many continually overlook this extremely important tiny detail. The moment my subscriber alert went off I went straight to the NARA Trump Administration landing page —because I am beholden to automated notifications.
January 2021 Trump willfully sent boxes of classified documents to Mar-A-Largo.
May 6 2021 NARA not only identified some of the missing classified documents, the Archivist attempts to clawback the missing government property (the documents) —this attempt proved to be unsuccessful
from May 2021 to December 2021 there’s extensive communications (emails, official letters, phone calls, etc) from/to the NARA/Trump concerning the missing Government property.
December 2021 the NARA officially sends a letter to Team-Trump. Explicitly noting ongoing refusal, obfuscation and feigning ignorance would eventually cause the NARA to make a criminal referral to the DOJ over the mishandling and improper storage of Classified documents.
At some point after the December 2022 warning letter -miraculously Team-Trump acquiesced and informed the NARA that 15 boxes could be retrieved.
February 9, 2022 the NARA disclosed to the DOJ that of the 15 boxes of Governor property, there we numerous classified documents. Read more here and more specifically here and here
April 12, 2022 —NARA then informed Trump’s legal-team that they would allow the FBI to review/access the documents as part of the January 2022 NARA clawback.
April 29, 2022 Trump’s attorneys ask NARA for an extension of time to respond to the April 12th notice. The Trump extension request was provisionally granted.
May 10, 2022 NARA denied Trump’s request for an additional extension. Largely because of the grave nature of Trump’s stealing of government property .
May 11, 2022 -the DOJ obtains a grand jury subpoenas concerning all documents marked as classified
May 16th thru 18th -the FBI initiates a review of the contents of the 15 boxes NARA clawed back from Trump. During this review, the FBI assessed that there were:
184 Classified Documents, of that 67 documents were marked Confidential, 92 documents labeled as Secret and 25 documents were labeled TS/SCI -SAP
May 12, 2022 it was then widely reported that a Grand Jury was utilized as part of the ongoing criminal investigation regarding Trump’s unlawful theft and improper read more here
May 24, 2022 was the grand jury subpoenas deadline. for Trump to produce storage of Government documents. Yet again Trump requested an extension for the production of the responsive documents pursuant to the subpoena. The DOJ grants Trump’s request for an extension, thus moving the deadline from May 24th to June 7, 2022
June 2, 2022 Trump’s attorneys request the DOJ “immediately retrieve the documents, Trump and/or his attorneys miraculously discovered during their “exhaustive and diligent search for aforementioned documents”
June 3, 2022 at least three FBI agents and Division Chief, Jay Bratt DOJ’s Counterintelligence, National Security Division went to Mar-A-Largo and that’s when Trump (or his Attorney) provided the Government with a singular folder that ultimately contained 38 classified documents.
Also on June 3, 2022 Trump’s former-OANN- “news anchor” Christina Bobb signed a certification that there were zero, zip. nada classified materials on prem at Mar-A-Largo.
DOJ recently disclosed that neither Trump or his counsel never “asserted any claim of executive privilege” or produced any documentary evidence that Trump had (unilaterally) declassified
During the June 3rd field trip to Mar-A-Shithole investigators were “forbidden to see the contents of the boxes/containers” being stored in the basement of the unsecured Mar-A-Shithole
From June 3rd to early August the investigators developed evidence (“from a plethora of witnesses) that Trump and his attorneys mislead the Government. Contrary to Trump’s assertion —investigators knew Trump had numerous stolen documents at Mar-A-Shithole
August 5, 2022 —after a year plus of “negotiations” and repeated written request to Trump that it was unlawful to retain Government property. Furthermore the Government noted the his recklessness of the storage an unsecured facility. Magistrate Judge Reinhart determined that the Government had sufficiently proven, thus meeting the probable cause threshold and beyond reasonable doubt that Mar-A-Largo likely contain evidence of “obstruction of Justice” and violations of the Espionage Act.
August 8, 2022 the day that Trump’s long awaited “Infrastructure Week” had commenced at the same tacky-shithole County Club.
Completely unrelated to the ongoing criminal situation, I’d like to refresh your memory of how Trump likely committed Insurance Fraud —he collected multimillions of dollars for a (likely fraudulent) insurance claim of damages sustained during a hurricane that never happened. Again that insurance fraud allegation has nothing to do with the August 8, 2022 execution of a search warrant. But occasionally I access deep files within my mind-vault. Incidentally if you’re a BBC Sherlock Holmes fan then you’ll understand my Season 3, Episode 3 -His Last Vow —reference.
It is worth noting that the above aggregated timeline is no where near exhaustive. This is largely predicated, in part, nearly everyday it appears more and more facts are disclosed. I’m oddly comfortable stating; if you think Trump had a craptastic day, just wait, his tomorrow and days thereafter will be far worse for him and his effusive sycophantic defenders.
Recently one of my readers commented that we are all likely suffering some level of PTSD. I concur with this assessment. For five plus years, nearly everyday Donald Trump’s emotional terrorism felt like a punch to the head. In retrospect there were times I wanted Trump to punch me in the head, knocking me out until his departure from 1600 Penn. Unlike XYZ-scandal-gates from the past. This one feels different. This one feels like finally Lady Justice and her BFF accountability are standing their ground. And Trump will be held accountable for his lawlessness. Hope Springs Eternal, right?
It’s as if everyday Trump wakes up and says “good Morning everyone, God has, let me live another day and now I’m going to make it everyone’s problem” and then incomprehensibly he actually out does himself from yesterday. In some respects if this current situation wasn’t so grave —it would be comical watching Trump play hide the classified documents sausage. But the reality is Trump has become the most serious insider threat to face our Country.
Summary
The entire purpose of this article was to present a cogent and concise updated timeline. As well as to help you remember how Trump repeatedly overruled our Intelligence Community. His erratic and reckless actions with the pinnacle culminating in to the deadly Jan6th Domestic Terror attack on our Capitol. And Trump’s obvious consciousness of guilt behavior. With the hope of asking you:
Has Trump acted like he’s innocent?
Has Trump proffered any exculpatory evidence?
Has Trump been cuffed and stuffed, yet?
Obviously the answer to those three rhetorical questions is; NOPE —but I want to urge you to remain patient. Yes our criminal justice system works at a sloth like pace. Notwithstanding I have immense faith and trust in Attorney General Garland and more broadly the men and women of the FBI and US Attorneys.
To those who have and continue to besmirch and demand the resignation from our AG —time will actually prove just how pernicious and feeble your attempts are. Your expressed goal of seeking the dopamine fix via likes & retweets, all while casting doubt on AG Garland, the FBI and US Attorneys.
Your screaming-goat rhetoric is uninformed and frankly you should just delete your accounts. Because anytime someone sends me your threads this is instinctively how I read your Blue-QANON-sense👇🏻
The fact is, some of us actually know the arduous process it takes for the DOJ to seek an indictment. And more broadly the whole of the criminal justice system. And some of us actually try to help explain this lengthy process in layman’s terms.
In short the adults are speaking and you can return to the Thanksgiving children’s tables, where you belong. Accordingly if you are good little children, the adults will let you know when your allowed to join the grown ups table (snort) until such time, sit the F down and chug some STFU juice.
And there isn’t a reasonable segway from the last four paragraphs. Those paragraphs stand on their own and I’m not sorry. However here’s your daily saltwater therapy…
For now I need to shove a sandwich in my calorie hole while simultaneously acting like I’m paying attention to an hours long conference call. At least this time I remembered to mute my line so my colleagues can’t hear my snort laughing.
