USAO-NDGA indicts man threatening to kill GA Election Workers -Thanks Trump- updated with DOJ-OPA

At what point will Donald Trump accept responsibility for his radicalization of hundreds of thousands of Americans. Does an Election Worker need to be murder

Donald Trump & his media echo chamber…

…have radicalized hundreds of thousands of Americans, who in turn target, harass, and threaten to kill other Americans. Because they believe Donald Trump’s lies and are fed an all you can eat buffet of election disinformation on various “news” Networks like Fox “News” —at what point will there be a constructive discussion on the radicalization of Trump supporters who become domestic terrorist? I genuinely fear it might take the murder of an election worker.

And thankfully the USAO-NDGA @NDGAnews recently unsealed an indictment charging Chad Stark (see WDTX- MJ Case via ECF) with making interstate commerce threats to murder several Georgia Election Workers -by placing several Craig’sList Advertisements… see USAO-NDGA Press Release

I want you to read page 2 of the newly unsealed indictment. It’s the entire text of the Craig’s List Ad -and it is beyond unnerving —because the date of the threats is also important for context. These threats occurred on January 5, 2021, one day before the deadly Jan6th Domestic Terror attack. The threats are stomach turning because Defendant Stark was likely radicalized by believing Trump’s lies. The plain reading of Defendant Stark’s Craigs List advertisement is unbelievably disturbing…it reads in part:

…Then we work our way down to [Official B] the local and federal corrupt judges. It’s our duty as American Patriots to put an end to the lives of these traitors and take back our country by force we can no longer wait on the corrupt law enforcement in the corrupt courts. If we want our country back we have to exterminate these people. One good loyal Patriot deer hunter in camo and a rifle can send a very clear message to these corrupt governors.. milita up Georgia it’s time to spill blood….  we need to pay a visit to [Official C] and her family as well and put a bullet her behind the ears. Let’s be very clear to our local law enforcement who have stood down and watch BLM antifa destroy our country and kill our citizens yet you’ll step up to stop Patriot supporters you’ll enforce face mask and you’ll close American businesses??? Remember one thing local law enforcement the key word being local…..  we will find you oathbreakers and we’re going to pay your family to visit your mom your dad your brothers and sisters your children your wife…  we’re going to make examples of traitors to our country…  death to you and all you communist friends.

Donald Trump falsely targeting GA Election Workers

I highly recommend you (reread) this December 2021 Reuters Article it chronicles the intense fear and numerous threats to the lives of election workers. Donald Trump called out one of the Election Workers by name. She had to go in to hiding and is under the protection of Federal & State Law Enforcement. And I certainly hope her defamation per se complaint that the Jury awards her a substantial judgement. Because what Trump and his unhinged sycophants have done for nearly 15+ months. It’s disgusting. It’s unAmerican. It’s criminal.

…Death threats from angry Trump supporters forced Georgia election worker Ruby Freeman, a 62-year-old grandmother, to flee her home of 20 years. Some messages called for her hanging; one urged people to “hunt” her. Freeman showed hundreds of menacing messages to police and called 911 three times.

Two of the Election Workers were falsely identified by the “trash” news organization “The Gateway Pundit” and that “news” organization is facing a civil lawsuit for their role in what these election workers endured

Today’s Indictment is the first…

If you recall in the Summer of 2021 in the face of the ever growing threats to State and Local Election Officials, Volunteers and general election workers -Deputy Attorney General Monaco announced;

…a law enforcement task force to address the rise in threats against election workers, administrators, officials, and others associated with the electoral process

To protect the electoral process for all voters, we must identify threats against those responsible for administering elections, whether federal, state, or local…A threat to any election official, worker, or volunteer is a threat to democracy. We will promptly and vigorously prosecute offenders to protect the rights of American voters, to punish those who engage in this criminal behavior, and to send the unmistakable message that such conduct will not be tolerated.”

I had previous written about the July 2021 TaskForce, found here and specifically highlighted DAG Monaco’s 3 page memo. So today’s newly unsealed indictment is a good step in addressing the increasingly violent threats facing Election Workers.

On a very personal note; many of you might recall my various twitter threads. Explaining why every American should volunteer at least once for an election. Which is somewhat disheartening because until Donald J Trump I enjoyed volunteering at my local polling place. However during the 2016 election I notified my local registrar that I wasn’t comfortable working the polls because I was concerned about safety and Trump’s increasingly disturbing rhetoric where (in 2016) he was clearly endorsing violence. I would actually expect many more indictments to come from the DOJ Election TaskForce

at any rate -isn’t this how most people spend their lunch? In all seriousness I have to get back to shoving bonbons in my calorie hole. And with any luck I’ll be heading back to DC just in time to have dinner with the family.
