Why has Mark Meadows not been indicted for aiding and abetting a domestic Terror attack?
Oh you think I’m being dramatic -I can assure you that I am not being dramatic -I’m going to walk you through the mind blowing number of documents the House Select Committee has already obtained.
Trust me -read the section of this article where I went there because tonight’s House Select Committee’s final report -the last few pages include about a dozen questions the Select Committee wanted to asked Meadows in his deposition and I’m glad the Select Committee put those questions in writing
As noted my sporadic publishing is largely due to the fact I’m pulling close to 18+ hour work days…bear with me (at least until Jan 2022) and then my schedule will return to normal…
In Rep Kinzinger‘s opening statement:
“..Mark Meadows committed a crime…a premeditated crime…”
So while you might think the headline of this article is bombastic, I can assure you it is, not at all bombastic. As evident in Rep Kinzinger’s opening comments (see link to watch tonight’s full hearing/meeting on voting to hold Mark Meadows in criminal contempt) that is what a Republican said in today’s hearing… the brutal reality is during the Trump Administration —he & his sycophants conducted themselves in a manner which is incompatible with our form of Self Governance. Donald J Trump is a twice impeached loser. He lost the 2020 Election. And by all appearances he surrounded himself with individuals that lack any modicum of integrity. Furthermore his egregious behavior and emotional terrorism, you can draw numerous through lines between Nov 2020 to present day.
Trump radicalized his QANON-MAGA supporters.
Trump told them what & who to be mad about.
Trump instructed thousands of Domestic Terrorist to violently descend on our Country’s Capitol.
Trump then stood by for hours and refused to intervene.
Trump put countless lawmakers lives in jeopardy.
There is no moving on -until Trump & his dangerous acolytes face justice in our Criminal Justice System. The nexus is Donald Trump. Additionally countless co-conspirators who aided and abetted Trump. Until such time the Department of Justice, specifically the USAO-DC seek to prosecute Trump & his inner circle —for the crimes they committed surrounding January 6th, then the fragility of our Republic and our Democracy are in constant jeopardy. The Republican Party should be viewed as the Political Party of Domestic Terrorist.
Fox News Host, Donald Trump Jr all texted Mark Meadows…
“Mark, the President needs to tell people at the Capitol to go home…this is hurting all of us…he is destroying his legacy” Laura Ingram text to Mark Meadows
“should call out all electoral votes that he believes are unconstitutional as no electoral votes at all." Rep Cheney went on to read aloud other text messages that were sent to Mark Meadows in real time and yet it took Trump hours to even say anything to his domestic terrorist…
"These text messages leave no doubt. The White House knew exactly what was happening here at the Capitol,"
"One text Mr. Meadows received said quote 'We are under siege here at the Capitol.'"
The fact that other members of Congress, multiple Fox “news” personalities and even Trump Jr sent a series of text messages to Meadows - the Committee will get to the facts and a full accounting of actions or lack thereof. Yes I’m saying I trust this Committee and you should too. There is no moving on from January 6, 2021 until people like Mark Meadows are under criminal indictment…
Even Trump’s most ardent supporters begged Meadows to get Trump to call off the violent mob, that he and Fox “News” largely radicalized…it is going to come down to these critical questions:
What did Meadows do upon receiving the crush of incoming text messages from multiple fox “new” talent, Donald Trump Jr?
What did he tell Donald Trump?
When did he inform Trump?
Why was Trump MIA for hours? While the domestic terrorist he radicalized chanted “hang Mike Pence”
When and Who did Meadows talk to at the Department of Defense, Homeland Security, Department of Justice?
House Repository - Underlying documents as to Mark Meadows Contempt of Congress
https://docs.house.gov or see this link to the meeting package before tonight’s unanimous vote
If you don’t know - now you will - there are a lot of documents that the House produces prior to taking a vote on holding a person in Contempt of Congress. Meaning the Committee produces a preliminary report, various exhibits and ultimately a final report -before the Resolution is voted on by the Committee. All of the documents were uploaded to the repository on December 13, 2022 at 5:35PM DC local time. Again I want to ensure that my readers have unfettered access to the documents produced by the Select Committee.

Do NOT ever forget the hours long delay to get the DC National Guard deployed
As many of you know the hours long delay is a lingering matter that has yet to be fully answered. In March of 2021 I explained that Major General Walker’s testimony was damning and that the House should get to the bottom of what took the Trump White House so long to activate & deploy the DC National Guard -they were waiting in satellite busses and couldn’t get their boots on the ground -because (at the time) the Trump was the Commander in Chief of the DC National Guard…since Washington DC is not a State -the Mayor is not the Commander in Chief of the DC National Guard -the president is. And that’s an important distinction I repeatedly informed my twitter followers, at the time.
As you’ll note that the contemporaneous timeline published by the Department of Defense —the Select Committee will get to the facts surrounding the hours long delay. Thus looking at you Kash & Ezra because you know what you did and didn’t do and that in of itself should forever disqualify you from ever holding a position of public trust. Wonder how they depos went. Fun Fact -if you are an officer of the Court and you continue to defy a lawful subpoena —then you should expect a Bar referral and possibly face an ethics committee ← ask Jeff how that’s going for him…
Again, see the highlighted timeline from the DOD here which was published in Feb & March of 2021… so yes I’m glad the Committee is also zeroing in on the delayed action by the DOD. At the critical moment that USCP and MPD needed back up -the Trump White House and Trump loyalist at the Department of Defense sought to delay deploying boots on the Capitol grounds.
..General Walker goes on to explain what the January 5, 2021 Memo and the restrictions it placed on him and his command - again “every second, every minute counted” and the DOD waited 199 minutes. An eternity - which resulted in over 140 officers sustaining injuries - some are permanent. You can read more here
The Department of Defense posted a detailed planning & execution timeline for the National Guard’s involvement in the January 6, 2021 violent attack at the U.S. Capitol. The document can be found here.
Unanimous Vote by House Select Committee - holding Mark Meadows in Criminal Contempt of Congress
Again based on the initial committee report - why has Mark Meadows not been indicted by the Department of Justice? That’s not a flippant question. It’s a informed and serious question. Today’s small tranche of evidence the Select Committee made public and has already obtained is beyond a sufficient predicate for the Department of Justice to present evidence to a Grand Jury and likely would result in an indictment via a True Bill
…yes I understand what I’m reporting is highly provocative but this is looking at the substantial set and finding of facts. Mindful that this is likely only a scintilla of evidence the Committee has already obtained.
Mr. Meadows’s failure to comply, and this contempt recommendation, are not based on good-faith disagreements over privilege assertions. Rather, Mr. Meadows has failed to comply and warrants contempt findings because he has wholly refused to appear to provide any testimony and refused to answer questions regarding even clearly non-privileged information—information that he himself has identified as non-privileged through his own document production.
Meadows traveled to Georgia?
Wait a minute - have I been living under a rock? Because I went back and reread the Committee’s first report - Meadows traveled to Georgia and he likely violated the Presidential Records Act (PRA)? The latter is of zero surprise. Remember that time a certain Spicy account tweeted to Jared Kushner “Bruh you using WhatsApp and then forwarding a screenshot isn’t acceptable as per the PRA”…because it was largely known that the Trump Administration —particularly those in the Oval Office used their personal devices to conduct official government business… so it’s not that surprising that Meadows likely violated Federal Law, specifically the PRA… meaning that the Trump Administration failure to comply with Federal Records Retention also means that historically there could be many areas of the Trump Administration where it’s a black hole of “I’m Prez Orange Bigly and I can do what I want because I’m the president” — my assumption is, this is what happens when you have a narcissistic sociopath as the president. Trump truly comported himself as “a king and above our laws and above our Constitution”
…Mr. Meadows personally travelled to Georgia to inspect a county audit related to the presidential election, but the Select Committee has not been able to obtain testimony from Mr. Meadows about these events…
Based on Mr. Meadows’s production of documents and recently reported information, it appears that Mr. Meadows may not have complied with legal requirements to retain or archive documents under the Presidential Records Act
Select Committee Unanimous Vote:
So the House Resolution (H. Res) most likely won’t hit the Clerk’s office until after Wednesday of this week -at which point the H.Res will then be placed on the calendar and then the House will debate and discuss with a full House vote to commence either right before Christmas or shortly after the New Year
https://clerk.house.gov or the live stream ←personally I prefer the latter link because it gives you a pretty comprehensive dashboard
Pursuant to clause 2(l) of rule XI, Vice Chair CHENEY requested that Members have 2 calendar days in which to file with the clerk of the Committee supplemental or additional views on the measure ordered reported by the Committee.
By unanimous consent, staff was authorized to make any necessary technical or conforming changes to the Report to reflect the actions of the Committee.
By unanimous consent, the Select Committee adjourned at 7:47 p.m.
We would have asked Mr Meadows…
Late last week I walked you through what the Committee had already received. And noted that the Select Committee should publish the questions they would have asked Meadows had he appeared pursuant to the subpoena. Specifically stating the Committee needs to explain to the American people what evidence they have and what questions they would have asked Meadows in a deposition - welp the Committee published said report and the questions are literally the last few pages of the 139 page report

I now refer you to pages 102 et seq —for the record did you really think I was making it up that Meadows used a personal and burner phone or that a bunch of communications were sent to his gmail accounts? I can assure you that at no time was I exaggerating or making specious allegation(s) -in the Committee’s final report, which was uploaded at 8:34PM DC Local time:
“Meadows’ document production includes documents taken from two Gmail “
The other issue of retroactively claiming privilege —here’s the bottom line on that, Mark Randall Meadows has no basis to claim privilege. Even if he were to ague it was an inadvertent disclosure (which is hilarious beltway rumor) doesn’t matter, since Meadows voluntarily waived it by the following recent actions:
He published a book (I hope there’s a way for Congress to clawback the largesse Meadows made via his book advance and book sales) which described from his point of view what happened leading up to and after Jan 6th
He provided the Committee with 9,000 pages (it was previously reported that Meadows proceed 6,000 pages) of documents.
In any event Meadows has clearly and repeatedly waived privilege by his own actions and nope not a chance he can claw back those documents
Privilege is rarely used to clawback documents already voluntarily produced.
Suing the House Select Committee and each committee member in their individual capacity
…Meadows lawsuit is undoubtedly destined to fail given the USCCoA-DC Ruling -which was a significant win for the House Select Committee (read more here)
Had Mr. Meadows appeared for his deposition today, we would have asked him a series of questions about subjects that we believe are well outside of any claim of executive privilege. More specifically, we would have asked Mr. Meadows questions about his use of personal email and cellular phones.
Mr. Meadows’ document production includes documents taken from two Gmail accounts. We would’ve asked him how and for what purpose he used those Gmail accounts and when he used one of them as opposed to his official White House email account. We would’ve similarly asked him about his use of a personal cellular telephone.
“..I didn’t lose. People need me to get back to work. We’re not done yet…”
I think the last sentence is absolutely chilling and ominous -and before you decided to canonize Donald Trump Jr - see highlighted, redlined and annotated copy of tonight’s Committee Report
“We need an Oval Office Address. He had to lead now. It has gone too far and gotten out of hand…”
Lest you forget that Trump didn’t understand why everyone around him didn’t have the same level of joy & excitement. No when we as a Country watched thousands of Domestic Terrorist (of which Trump largely radicalized) attack our Capitol, many of us watched in abject horror. This was a deadly domestic terror attack and I genuinely wished the MSM would accurately report it as such.
..We would’ve asked Mr. Meadows about another passage on page 261 in his book. Quote, ‘‘‘Mark,’ Trump would say to me, ‘Look, if I lost, I’d have no problem admitting it. I would sit back and retire and probably have a much easier life, but I didn’t lose. People need me to get back to work. We’re not done yet”
To those saying this isn’t Criminal Contempt of Congress - here’s your sign and hopefully it will knock the deep stupid out of those, who are trafficking in that dangerous disinformation -
Criminal Contempt of Congress
As you can tell I’m running on little sleep and 16+ hour long work days but I figure I should help my readers and decided to rush out this article -at a later date (likely after Thursday I’ll publish a far more robust article) but my professional obligations have left me with little to no free time. Yet oddly I had 25 seconds that I could post on Instagram. At any rate this week is do or die -for me and a few lawmakers. Of which I side-eyed a particular lawmaker for the duration of the committee hearing —I think he found that unnerving because he did something that caused him to be in a lot of trouble -grab ass in an elevator in front of other lawmakers —you’re lucky I didn’t decide to cold cock you —instead I informed one of my bosses and opted to use your behavior as leverage for my client.
Also Fox “News” today proved that their on air talent are lying hypocrites. They privately texted Meadows -voicing horror over what we all witnessed. If you think the Select Committee has laid all their cards on the table. Well I can assure you that this is just the tiny tippy point of a massive iceberg. Today’s Committee report puts a finding of facts that at least four Fox “news” on air talent are completely discredited - Fox “news” is bad for America. They are purposefully not informing their readers to the hearing or the robust finding of facts. Understand this - DC is a brutal place. But in the end the facts will be found and then published for the American people. At this point I think I’m just going to troll the Fox “news” talent with their own words vis-a-vis their text messages to Mark Meadows —but again why hasn’t Mark Meadows been indicted? He aided and abetted thousands of Domestic Terrorist. He and Trump must be held accountable for their actions which caused the deaths of eight individuals, five of whom were law enforcement officers. So yes I’m not ready to move on -I’ll move on once Mark Meadows, Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, Amy Kramer, RAGA, Ali Alexander, Steve Bannon are all indicted for inciting the deadly DOMESTIC TERROR ATTACK because that’s what January 6, 2021 was —a domestic terror attack that Trump et al incited…
-Filey
PS please send a case of Red Bull because I’m running on fumes and it’s only Monday
The Fox News hosts went on air downplaying a seditious indirection and have continued to do so. When it was too late, Jr couldn’t get his dad to pick up his phone call. Jr plus the other ilk relished their antagonizing, taunting & menacing behavior before they saw it went too far. I hope the media does not try to credit any of them as voices of reason. They were voices of treason. Lastly, we now know why Jeffrey Clark was chosen and promoted & why they wanted him as AG. The pain cuts deep how close we came. The pain goes deep at how many lawmakers decided they would toss a democratic election aside for a sociopath. We will know soon. We will find out. We must not forget.
Handsy, grabby lawmaker needs to be set straight. I’m glad you didn’t punch him but something has to be done. The arrogance of him…like he has some kind of free pass to grab at women? It’s so aggregators at this juncture. Hope karma is a bitch.
Happy holidays Filey! Wishing you good health and my very best wishes.
Meadows is clearly a treason weasel.
Thank you for this, and good luck getting through your week!
