Holy CRAP that’s about 55 minutes south of us. You have to go to Sam & Omies their biscuits are so delish & portions are gigantic.
The weather should clear up if you end up coming down.. It’s super foggy today but that’s bc there’s <3MPH winds.
Honestly the OBX (especially south of Nags Head) is absolutely glorious this time of year. Case in point I jumped into the ocean abt 2 hours ago. The water felt unseasonably warm —if the Gulf Stream takes over the Labrador it’s not uncommon for pockets of ocean to have temps warmer > 76 degrees
Man next year we should definitely do a meet up.
unfortunately I’m too embarrassed right now to do a meet up (or talk via phone) ..as my speech is so slurred and I’m having difficulty formulating coherent sentences. I hope you don’t think I’m dodging you. Nonetheless I hope you have a wonderful birthday & please drink a glass of champs for me😍❤️😍
Oh we LOVE Sam and Omie’s!! We love Bob’s Grill eat and get the hell out, we stay 4 doors down from the Jenette Pier! Also, if you haven’t tried it, please try Nags Head Pizza Co. Hilery and Lewis are the owners. They are in old Nags Head on cottage row by the old houses. If you haven’t seen the news from Nags Head some of the millionaire assholes like senator burr went to Nags Head town council and complained about their business. Fucking ridiculous!!! They both grew up in Nags Head and these assholes are trying to ruin their business. I would love to get together with you. We will be down next July. I just hope by then we still have a country!
