Having had to have a large portion of my upper lip removed and replaced with a portion of my lower lip, resulting in months of not being able to eat or even talk as the new portion was necessarily still attached to the older portion, I sympathize and empathize with your injuries. Glad they're getting better.
I am glad you had a happy Thanksgiving with your baby niece and that your replacement car is on its way, still and despite a detour.
