Thanks again for updating us while recovering. My husband had osteomyelitis of his jaw, and we had to get creative regarding foods he could eat. Homemade soups were his favorites. Butternut squash soup is delicious. Clam chowder, and cream of potato soup were some he enjoyed. If anyone knows of a copy-cat Magic Mushroom Soup (Mellow Mushroom), it’s fabulous. I could eat it every day. Anyhow, hope your healing is quick.
I am of the belief that you take pain meds exactly as prescribed including setting your alarm in the middle of the night! Stay AHEAD of pain and don’t train your brain to REACT to it. <putting soapbox under the sink)
I just have to say… Ive had two accounts Ive followed for years block me over my defense of both Garland (and the idiotic thinking that CDC is about PR and not science. We’re not very good as a country with “evolving threats” - never have been. As an aside - imagine if people stopped trying to find the loopholes as to why none of it applies to them and got vaccinated and boosted instead?)
So here’s my question this week: Ive been reading a lot about OKC bombing. And it strikes me that the Govt is very good at tracking down and punishing those who commit violence, but not the instigators and planners behind it. or in the case of 1/6 - set the whole coup/insurrection in motion
A Memo isn’t against the law. Flawed legal arguments aren’t against the law. But surely telling the DOJ to send a LTR to states “to just announce” questions when there were none, GOP coordinating/creating false slates of electors and forging state documents and sending to the Nat’l Archives can’t be “legal.” Their intention here is to defraud the United States, no?
My point is, you’ve got Navarro saying had there NOT been violence at the capital their gigantic cheat and fraud would have worked. While definitely a red herring kind of deflection, but i thought co-conspirators didn’t have to know or be party to ALL parts of a conspiracy to be guilty of such.
Im just reminded of Mueller Report too - Efforts to obstruct don’t necessarily count if the effort didn’t succeed. And lots of destroyed evidence.
