And for those of you who have followed me on Twitter and Substack know that my patience was almost depleted. Today the USAO-DC has earned my respect and trust…

USAO-DC announcement -Sedulous Conspiracy-

On January 13, 2022 the USAO-DC (see Press Release) formally announced that a Federal Grand Jury returned indictments of 11 (new) Defendants -all affiliated with the Oath Keepers. And I should acknowledging that my unabated criticism of the USAO-DC might have been myopic and unfair. Particularly in light of last week’s speech/press conference by Attorney General Merrick Garland. Yes patience is required and I should probably remind myself of that. Who’s long been on the radar of the FBI and DHS - Rhodes is the Founder of the OathKeepers, see U.S. v. Rhodes et al - Indictment (see March 2021 article)

Edward Vallejo, U.S. v. Crowl et al - Indictment ← I think in March of 2021 I stated that Vallejo was in it up to his eyeballs and by proxy so is Rep Paul Gosar given he’s the one who recently amplified the bonkers Epps story see Rep Gosar’s December 2021 amplification - I was recently asked why I never wrote about Epps - the reason is my preliminary research found that Epps & Gosar are absolutely linked and I didn’t want to amplify Gosar’s Op -meaning his insane theory that Epps (his constituent) was an FBI operative; none of that crazy conspiracy is true and it’s vulgar that Rep Gosar would use the resources of his Office to not only propagate but amplify that dangerous lie. That’s why I choose not to write about Epps. Always trust your gut instinct, always.

The aforementioned three indictment tie into the ongoing USA v Caldwell but the caveat is Rhodes et al being charged with “seditious conspiracy” is the best Infrastructure week, ever. Look at Count One -Seditious Conspiracy - 18 USC 2384: Seditious conspiracy -conspiracy carries a statutory maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.

…defendants conspired through a variety of manners and means, including: organizing into teams that were prepared and willing to use force and to transport firearms and ammunition into Washington, D.C.; recruiting members and affiliates to participate in the conspiracy; organizing trainings to teach and learn paramilitary combat tactics; bringing and contributing paramilitary gear, weapons, and supplies – including knives, batons, camouflaged combat uniforms, tactical vests with plates, helmets, eye protection, and radio equipment – to the Capitol grounds…

…breaching and attempting to take control of the Capitol grounds and building on Jan. 6, 2021, in an effort to prevent, hinder and delay the certification of the electoral college vote; using force against law enforcement officers while inside the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021; continuing to plot, after Jan. 6, 2021, to oppose by force the lawful transfer of presidential power, and using websites, social media, text messaging and encrypted messaging applications to communicate with co-conspirators and others.

Whispers if I were Roger Stone, Mark Meadows, Steve Bannon and Donald J Trump I would be absolutely terrified about what Rhodes et al might do to. Such as providing the prosecution with inculpatory evidence (not to be confused with exculpatory evidence such as: Eyewitness statements, Confessions, any and all electronic communications etc) —in an effort to not spend the rest of their natural lives in a Federal Prison. Because if I were on Rhodes defense team, I’d speed dial the USAO-DC and sing like a bird.

That the OathKeepers had split into groups, thus forming two separate and distinct “stacks” -Stack One headed to the Senate Chamber -Stack two headed to the House Chamber - the planning and coordination now affirmed by today’s newly unsealed indictments. To those who said “you’re dead wrong there was nothing organized about the attack” -I’ll preemptively accept your apology because my rebuttal to those specious Tweets are detailed in today’s indictments

Also to those who continue to amplify disinformation or downplay the horrific events of Jan6th 2021 -I now refer you to Paragraph 17 et seq -read it. Those are the facts and evidence the Investigators gathered. The notion that the Domestic Terrorist were “just tourist” and certainly they “did not come to DC armed” -

…as alleged in the indictment;

…QRF teams were prepared to rapidly transport firearms and other weapons into Washington, D.C., in support of operations aimed at using force to stop the lawful transfer of presidential power. The indictment alleges that the teams were coordinated, in part, by Caldwell and Vallejo.

And lastly I’d like to draw your attention to this chilling communique. For the record the Defendants will likely argue this is a first amendment right issue -the only problem with that argument is SCOTUS has long held that statements that incite violence are not considered “protected speech”

And because I’ve been (albeit harshly) critical of the former “acting” US Attorney for the District of Columbia -today’s newly unsealed indictment proves that we, the people need to be patient (and yes that includes me) because the DOJ doesn’t operate on the demands of what we think is a reasonable “timeline” so spare me your feigned & uniform “stop with justice works at its own pace” No the DOJ doesn’t hurry and rush.

The investigation is likely ongoing thus more heads will roll but I do think some of us need to take a big step back and allow the DOJ and especially the FBI a wide berth to let them investigate and insofar as “what took so long” complicated criminal cases takes time, time to collect the evidence, time to flush out all known and unknown participants and most importantly time to present evidence to a grand jury. So that’s me somewhat acknowledging that in the past I’ve been a harsh critic but after reading the three newly unsealed indictments —I trust Attorney General Merrick Garland, I trust the newly confirmed US Attorney for Washington DC and I absolutely trust the many FBI agents who are determined to find the facts.

At any rate I apologize for the abbreviated article but I really do need to go back to bed and take another dose of the liquid pain meds. I’m hoping to be back to my normal self by tomorrow but I might not be.
