Wow, the MSM leaves out so many details that you provide to us: details that add richness to the legal stories of this epic and historic legal battle to make those who tried to upend our democracy accountable. The defense presentencing memorandum is some world class bloviating "...like you wouldn't believe " to borrow a phrase from the now booted from office " TIFR "(Pelosi''s labeling him as such still delights me ). If a sentence is 8 months can it be reduced for good behavior? Does this defendant now have a felony on his record? Tx Filey !

There are HUNDREDS of idiots that marched into Congress on January 6th. They all knew they didn't have permission from authorities to be in that building. SOME of those hundreds marched in there sniffing for blood, fully equipped and ready to cause bodily harm to anyone they perceived as being in the way of the angry orange winning. Some of those poor suckers stood in line when God was handing out brains and thought he said trains and said please give me a slow one... But, to the ones with zip ties, bear spray and bats. Those that erected a gallows on OUR LAND. Those ardent secessionists that should be exiled to an uninhabited island in the South Pacific. THOSE people should be hit with every single violent offense that could possibly be supported in their prosecution. They should be sentenced to prison for the rest of their lives. I don't know that they can be reformed. The hate flows too deep within them.

Dear God, I hope and pray that I'm wrong. Please forgive me, but I'm still afraid and I fear for the future of my children and possible grandchildren... :'(

So does this smug SOB think he's an honorary Blues Brother who was on a mission from God on 1/6/2021? Guy must've had a really big shovel for all the BS that was in that presentencing memorandum. And I agree with you Filey . . . eight months seems like a pretty light sentence.

This sentence also sends the message that those who didn't break windows and assault LEOs can still serve time. I like that.

As a convicted felon isn't He also never allowed to possess a firearm? That means one more right-wing extremist who fights religiously to protect his perceived 2A rights just agreed to give up that right by his own actions.

Another good message for the fanatics.

I'm sorry he didn't get more time but now the precedent has been set that just being in that building proves guilt.

There are going to be lots of ignorant tears.
