Like many of you, I’m trying to wrap my head around how a Defendant could honorably serve in the US Army for over a decade. Then go on to serve as a police officer for over two and a half years —yet somehow decided to come to DC on January 6th and engaged in obstructive behavior and attempt to overthrow our Government —and ultimately delay the constitutionally mandated certification of the electoral college.

At a certain point we, need to understand how so many Trump supporters became radicalized domestic terrorist. Yes I know that’s an alarming statement, but if we as a Country are going to heal from the trauma many of us saw unfold on live TV—then that requires us to talk about Domestic Terrorism and that Radicalization of otherwise law abiding citizens. Meaning we need to address the; who why, what, when and how thousands of Americans were radicalized and they sought to over throw our Government. Failure to have an intellectually honest discussion means we do so at the peril of our Democracy and that’s not something that should be sugar coated or bogged down by Political screaming goats.

There is absolutely no question that Domestic Terrorism presents the single most clear and present danger to our Democracy… but the first step is to call what happened on January 6th as domestic terrorism and those who viciously beat law enforcement, ransacked lawmakers offices, defiled the hallowed halls of the Capitol— for exactly what they are: DOMESTIC TERRORIST.

From December 1999 - July 2010 - Defendant Irwin served as a

Military Police Officer/Working Dog Handler ² in the US Army

• Daily maintenance and care of military working dog to include grooming, explosive/narcotic detection training, patrol and obedience training and general health and welfare.

• Conducted patrols as a police officer on multiple installations with a population of over 150,000 soldiers and civilians. Maintained knowledge of local, state and federal laws to ensure my proficiency as a police officer with armed arrest authority and crime prevention.

• Held and maintained throughout my military career a Department of Defense Secret security clearance, expired July of 2010.

Charges: ³

18 U.S.C. §§ 1752(a)(1) and (2) - Knowingly Entering or Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds and Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building or Grounds,

40 U.S.C. §§ 5104(e)(2)(D) and (G)- Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building and Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building.

As the affidavit/statement of facts elucidates;

The individual who submitted the tip, whose identity is unknown to the FBI, provided the following description and picture:

“The man in the red circle is Joseph Irwin of the Elizabethtown, KY area. Retired Army and retired Hardin County Police Officer. I dont know him well enough to have contact information, but I do recognize him in the photo.”

And while the affidavit also disclosed that it was Defendant Irwin’s former bosses at the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office that confirmed the Identity -and further proffered Facebook Information for Defendant Irwin’s wife. I am purposely not linking to her Facebook account because they have three children and the vast majority of Defendant Irwin’s wife’s Facebook account contain post/pictures of their children.

That’s a redline that I refuse to cross. Please respect my decision to preemptively redaction the home address (in the Articles of Incorporation & Dissolution), the FBI agents name and not linking to Defendant Irwin’s wife’s Facebook account. And clearly I can be an asshole, but again these are red lines that I have repeatedly stated I do not feel comfortable crossing.m

Notwithstanding this is Defendant Irwin’s Facebook account (and there’s not much there)

Sheriff Ward told me that IRWIN worked at the Sheriff’s Office for a couple of years and left the department on May 20, 2016. Sheriff Ward also showed me photographs of IRWIN from IRWIN’s wife’s Facebook account. The photographs provided by Sheriff Ward from Facebook match the photograph of IRWIN in the picture above, provided by the tipster.

Lieutenant Miller also advised that he spoke with IRWIN briefly before January 6, 2021. IRWIN told Lieutenant Miller that he was on his way to meet up with friends at a march.

Based on a recent Docket Report - Defendant Irwin was arrested on August 17, 2021 in Cecelia Kentucky (WDKY-ECF) and will likely make his first appearance today —although it’s possible he’s already made that appearance but thus far I’m not having any luck at finding his MJ Case# in the WDKY-ECF. My guess is the Government won’t file a Pretrial Detention Motion because nothing in the Affidavit/Statement of Facts charges him with any acts of violence

Her Facebook account is like a wild ride into the deepest level of deep stupid - setting aside her racist pictures of many black members of Congress - but the crazy with a Capital C of her Facebook post are, unbelievable. For Example: on August 10, 2021 she posted this insane GatewayPundit Disinformation about the USCP death of #rossaneboyland - should you be inclined this is her Facebook account which is repeatedly referenced in the Affidavit/Statement of Facts (see DDC-ECF ⁴) also see United States v. LEE WDPA - MJ Case No: 1:21-mj-00554 (case is still sealed)

January 7, 2021, the District of Columbia Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) received an anonymous tip from an individual who reported that DEBORAH LEE, also known as “DEBBIE LEE”, posted images and statements to her Facebook account

…search warrants served on AT&T and Google, on January 6, 2021, in and around the time of the incident at the U.S. Capitol, the cellular telephone associated with telephone number xxx-xxx-1690, was identified as having used a cellular site consistent with providing service to a geographic area that included the interior of the United States Capitol. The telephone number was associated with Google email account mikerusyn@gmail.com. The name of the user identified in Google’s records was “Mike Rusyn”.

The FBI determined “Mike Rusyn” was Michael Joseph Rusyn of Olyphant, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.

…the FBI observed Rusyn and a female subject wearing a multi-colored jacket and a camouflage-style “beanie” hat, later identified as LEE, inside the U.S. Capitol. The two were observed through numerous surveillance cameras inside the U.S. Capitol. At one point in the footage, they were observed as members of a crowd that forcefully pushed back a line of uniformed police officers in the vicinity of the Chamber of the House of Representatives. Neither Rusyn nor LEE were observed making physical contact with the police officers, however they were part of the group that pushed the line of officers backwards in order to occupy additional space inside the Capitol.

…FBI located the name “DEBBIE LEE” with telephone number xxx-xxx-7121 saved as a contact in Rusyn’s cellular telephone. Further analysis of Rusyn’s cellular telephone revealed two videos that were recorded on January 6, 2021. The videos were recorded outside of the U.S. Capitol and appear to depict a large crowd, including LEE, outside of the Capitol. LEE is observed wearing a multi-colored jacket, camouflage-style “beanie” hat, and holding a cellular telephone in a purple case which is consistent with her appearance in the U.S. Capitol surveillance footage.

…July 1, 2021, a search warrant was issued in the District of Columbia to review the contents of LEE’s Facebook account (account identifier Debbie.lee319247). On January 6, 2021, the Facebook user uploaded a video which depicted a crowd within the United States Capitol. The video was narrated by an apparent female voice who said, in relevant part;

“I’m live. I’m at the Capitol doors. We’re all the way inside the building. We’re trying to get in. We got the glass broken…”

LEE’s Facebook account was used to send private messages to other Facebook users…“I broke into congress [sic] and there were guns on us” and “It’s our house. Our capital [sic]. We had every right to occupy”.

Again I think we need to call January 6th for what it was, an hours long Domestic Terror attack, which left 140 law enforcement officers injured, resulted in the death of five law enforcement officers (four of whom died by suicide after Jan6th) and those who became radicalized Domestic Terrorist. And if we are going to be intellectually honest then we shouldn’t shy away from correctly referring to Donald Trump as a Domestic Terrorist leader. Because that’s what he is and “media” outlets like Fox New, OANN and Newsmax willingly radically thousands of Domestic Terrorist. Period. Full Stop.

As warranted I’ll update these two new Defendants but I’m not going to feed you disinformation or misinformation —it is highly unlikely that the USAO-DC “acting” US Attorney will file Pretrial Detention Motions for these defendants because apparently “acting” US Attorney Channing D. Phillips —genuinely does not believe January 6th was a protracted Domestic Terror attack. If anyone has an alternative and factual explanation why nearly 8.56 out of 10 Defendants has been RoR’d or paid an offensively low unsecured bond - then I’m all ears
