There is nothing patriotic about Trump’s Jan 29th stump speech. He knows what he is doing. He has become increasingly unhinged. I hope he’s terrified about Justice coming for him.
I’ve been giving thune a lot of troll grief lately because he’s trying to shift blame to Dems, but he didn’t vote to remove and he damn well knows he should have at this point.. we got a good dem candidate that I hope beats him (snort, unlikely given his position BUT A GIRL CAN DREAM)
This. All of it. He is a clear and present danger to our democracy, a national security and hell a global security risk too when you think about it. His rhetoric inflames his followers which in turn, oozes out to duly elected officials just doing their due diligence justly. Just disgusting.
I live in Georgia it’s frightening, as there are plenty of armed nuts in GA. In addition, not far from my home, a supposedly former KKK rep (Chester Doles) is running for office in Lumpkin, GA. Lumpkin, GA is home to the Stewart County Detention Center (holding detained immigrants), and right next to Ft.Benning, where plenty of retired military live. This area is country redneck. There are plenty of people in and around me that believe the election was stolen, including family and friends. It’s taken a toll on me mentally, as I feel alone surrounded by crazy people you can’t reason with. No matter the evidence, these people will not believe the truth. Again, thanks for all you so.

Thank you. It’s tough and why I try to find the smartest, informed people to learn from. When I try to combat misinformation, I need my ducks in a row. Fighting against the mind wash of OAN, Fox is difficult. I have not seen one thing, on local news, regarding Chester Doles running for office. It’s possible I missed it. Atlanta Journal Constitution is how I found he is running for office. Anyhow, we all do what we can to make things better. And, I do believe there are more of us than them.
My dad was military and I spent most of my elementary years in military base schools. I was in the sixth grade when we returned to GA. It was definitely culture shock to see different bathrooms for colored and white. Schools on post were not segregated. This was back in 1966, so I am ancient. My mother was German and married a soldier. My sister recently moved to Brasstown, NC from GA.
I made a mistake. It was late when I posted. Our military schools were desegregated. When I returned to the states, the public schools off post were segregated. When I was in high school, in the 70s, public schools began desegregation.
I cannot believe that he was not immediately arrested for calling the insurrectionists to once again stand for his lies. His vicious, noxious, toxic LIES!!
I hope that #TraitorTrump's unhinged remarks mean that he realizes he's running out of road politically & legally & he's panicking. My own belief is that he won't run again because his ego is too fragile to take another loss. On a related note, I think any of the organizers, venues, vendors, etc., who make his little shit shows happen should be held liable for any violence that comes as a result too. He was deplatformed from social media for a reason. Those who make it possible for him to continue to spread his never ending lies & threats at his little pep rallies should be subject to negative civil & criminal consequences if violence ensues. I know that's probably a pipedream, but it shouldn't be.
He never had power in his life. He was a joke amongst his peers. He weaseled his way corruptly into the White House and held real power for the first time in his life. He wants it back and wants more. He will stop at nothing! Our democracy hasn't been the same since he ran for 2016. We have to believe the 1/6 committee, Garland, Atlanta, and NY will get him and his cronies/family. If not, democracy in the United States will be a thing of the past. Our Country has to be better than this. This scares the bejesus out of me.

Acosta and you are correct. Trump was desperate to stay POTUS so he incited a riot, and now he's desperate again, likely due to mounting legal issues, so he is doing it again. He is a walking, talking danger to our country.
