In the name of Cheesus I compel you to own your sh_t. You decided to go to DC. You decided to beat law enforcement officer. You decided to participate in a protracted act of Domestic Terrorism. OWN IT
EXCELLENT QUESTION and no my caps lock is not stuck — from a income tax standpoint I “think” it would be considered Taxable Income see 2016 IRS letter:
Which reads in part: “crowdfunding website must report distributions made to the organizer of the crowdfunding campaign—who then turns the money over to the campaign’s beneficiary” since none of the defendants have set up a 501(c)(3) or (4) my understanding is it is reportable income and the donations are not covered under the IRS gift waiver
Thank you- as ever! - for wrapping up the ‘go to’ grift crowd in comprehensible updates, Filey! You’re a force of Nature! And I’m with you re these grifters wrapping themselves in our flag while brandishing a Bible - as the current chosen ones. These folks represent everything Jesus fought against in his short time on earth. Grrrrrr. Also, we MUST have civics lessons STAT - available for all our citizens. They don’t have a grasp on the Constitution & their actual rights (or the Bible).
My pleasure —the research project for this series was/is kind of daunting. Not that it matters but in general I didn’t see a whole lot of MSM reporting on Give-Send-Go specifically explaining how the insurrectionist have flocked to this site. And felt that someone needed to report the facts. Based on my preliminary research I’ve tabulated >$675,525.00 funds raised and I believe there are now some 29 defendants using this site to raise funds. It genuinely makes me mad that they would pervert “Christianity” and then raise money off of lies and misleading half truths
Always happy to help - at the moment I’m not satisfied with my research for Part V so I’ll likely hold off until this weekend —when I can really sink my teeth into it
That suits me fine. I care much less about urgency of the reporting of the cases and more about the level of detailed support. And I just get so angry about the fake christian donation websites. Someone near me always says, if they have to advertise their christianity that's a red flag for it is phony.
I wonder if the "donations" they receive are taxable? And if so, do they report it as income the way all good, honest patriots do?

I think the threshold is >$20K which would require the individual to submit

hmmm.... I sincerely hope there is follow up. On every.single.one...

Thanks for the updates and the archiving on all the files/ accounts. I don't know how you do it all.

Agreed, I feel the same
Well now - https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/apr/10/proud-boys-far-right-givesendgo-christian-fundraising-site
You mean someone finally realized that there’s a big problem with Give-Send-Go? Sheesh for a minute I thought I’ve been screaming into the abyss for months https://file411.substack.com/archive?sort=search&search=Give-Send
