Adding to your thoughts on the slim chance of Weisselberg flipping; I have a family member who is a litigator on Deutsch Bank. I asked this person about the Twitter rumblings about prison, flipping, money laundering etc & chances of Trump in jail. The spouse works on the forensic finances part of this and is a lawyer too. Both said that these are very complicated & to be leery of the Q-left claims. This person was on team that represented Jeffrey Skilling, who got very little time after Enron compared to most white collar criminals. Like you said, this will have to go through a number of processes and won’t be resolved quickly. In other words, be patient! One lawyer on Twitter did say that Weisselberg has more to gain by not flipping and I wasn’t sure what that meant. Would his cooperation open him up to other charges? Was not sure why cooperating could be worse.

Have a great night Filey!!!!

I think what that person was trying to say is - unless Trump or his children are indicted than Weisselberg is really unlikely to flip. Remember these facts

-Fred brought Weisselberg in

-Roy Cohn and Weisselberg were extremely close

-Weisselberg knows where all the bodies are buried, how the money flowed and where the accounts are.

-of the six Trump entities detailed in the indictment

-Weisselberg is the treasure of 5, this includes

-Trump PayRoll

-Mar A Largo

-Trump Las Vegas

-TRUMP FLORIDA MANAGER CORP

Wollman Rink Operations LLC <— the audit showed serious accounting issues. Of the 21 companies (in FL) Weisselberg is listed as either the treasurer or EVP

As it relates to Trump’s adult children - I’d say they would be far more likely to flip than Weisselberg

Makes sense now. Thank you Filey!

Happy 4th to you and the family! There’s a lot to go through here and will enjoy every minute of watching this unravel for the Trump ilk. Sometimes I will forget about some of the topics you covered a few years back on Twitter & for the Maddog PAC & it’s quite impressive how much of it is here as well as newer pieces of this puzzle. I was disappointed when Junior & Ivan’s escaped indictment in 2012 for defrauding investors on the Trump Sojo project and it seemed like their grudging would not catch up. There was the hotel without the entrance/exit in Azerbaijan, where Ivan’s was the face of a project selling nonexistent waterfront properties and they did extensive remodeling with cheap materials. That too seemed like another crime they escaped punishment…along with working with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard & sanction violation. But in these numbers, we can see concrete evidence of the crimes. I agree that this is probably the onset of years worth of litigation. If this leads to the end of the Trump organization, than that’s a big win for the country. Asset forfeiture and prison sentences will be icing on the cake. I’m more convinced of the dissolution of the Trump org than anything. Junior’s video is so cringeworthy….his lawyer must be thinking he should not have taken this on. Plus, the family has a historically bad reputation for not paying their bills…double insult!

Have a fabulous 4th!!!

I think Jr might be helping to take Daddy down. He knows Daddy would trade him for a reduced sentence in a heartbeat.

Is it a possibility that thus becomes a RICO case?
