It’s good to know your “injuries are not at all serious” and only require doctor/surgeon follow up appointments because they are a PITA. PLEASE take of yourself first Filey. You are the most important person. If you don’t, you can’t take care of your family and do your job which I know you love both in that order.
LOLs my family was like -why are you down playing the injuries —I told them because in the grand scheme of things it could have been worse. My primary care doc was like “you have two black eyes and you’re missing your front tooth. Stop being stubborn, that’s an actual doctor’s order” Although the upside is the plastic surgery will likely be outpatient, so I can come back to the beach house & recuperate. Woot! Woot!!
I was on my weekly Monday teams call & my colleagues were like WTF are you doing still working —it looks like you were in a brawl. But definitely going to take it easy so my body can heal.
Listen here young lady, you need to get the broken bits fixed. Missing teeth is a big, broken bones need to heal, and a broken nose is a really big deal if it doesn't set properly!!
