Do you turn into an exhausted pumpkin at midnight Filey? 🤣🎃

I've watched every hearing from start to finish & found them all riveting. Today was no different. I skimmed this, but I'm setting it aside to read tomorrow with a fresh cup coffee. Then I'll be able to give it the attention it deserves. Sweet dreams Filey! 💤💤💤

Can confirm but it’s typically an exhausted spicy pumpkin 😂

I can't tell you how happy it makes me that after all you've been through, you continue to do what you do & you still retain a sense of humor & laugh at my stupid jokes. 😂😂😂 I hope the burn injuries are healing & that you're not scratching. If I remember correctly, the last time I got burned, it itched like the very devil when it was healing. Have a great day Filey!

I have a question and I don't want to ask anywhere else. I am a democrat, can't stand drump or his sycophants. My blood boiled nightly for 5 years watching that fool and his gang of thugs. Can you explain how the process works to prepare for events that should require additional policing. I have been confused why the Mayor of DC and the house and senate leaders didn't appear to know that Jan 6th could evolve into uncontrollable crowd control and violence. Just as a semi involved twitter follower, I observed many other users discussing it. Some of the police and even house and senate member's families and friends told them to be careful, due to things they were reading. Some news outlets talked about the potential for violence. Shouldn't the mayor have sought more protection? I don't understand the capabilities of Pelosi and, at that time, McConnell's ability to prepare the sergeant of arms - or even if these people could have requested additional backup. I firmly believe this falls squarely on the president, but shouldn't more have been done in preparation?

This is going to be a very long answer:

If we can agree that Washington DC is a “City” and not a State (Remember the DC National Guard it’s the POTUS that is the Commander in Chief. Where’s ABC State National Guard it’s the Governor who’s the CiC.

The policing is shared by numerous entities:

US Capitol Police, Metropolitan Police, US Park Police, DHS…Etc

But it’s largely dependent upon “what area” of DC.

But as a general rule MPD has jurisdiction of the “streets of DC” so on Jan6th US Capitol Police had to “request assistance from Fed Law Enforcement” —that said YES I agree with you that POTUS owns responsibility… which is why (if you recall I was immediately like hair on fire why didn’t Trump beef up security? Why didn’t Trump as CiC activate the DC National Guard? Why was there a Jan 5th memo to the DC National Guard? Hence why I repeatedly said the DOD contemporaneous memorandum (the timeline) will be hugely problematic for Trump

I have come to trust no one else - thank you Filey!

I appreciate everything you do to research and publish the truth. With everything the J6 committee and dedicated researchers have uncovered and with NOTHING being done to prosecute the leaders of the insurrection, I am beginning to feel that Merrick Garland is nothing but a McConnell plant and sleeper cell.

I get it -I’m just going to gently remind you to have patience but yes I’m starting to become unnerved by the lack of action at DOJ. There’s enough prima facia evidence to charge Trump, Meadows, Jeffrey Clark, Bannon, Stone, Flynn, Giuliani et al

And this is now me 👇🏻…at the conclusion of HSCJ6 hearings (directed at the DOJ)

I personally think the J6 hearings have been outstanding. I've watched every one from start to finish. No showboating, just a straight up "just the facts ma'am" presentation of the facts allowing the facts to speak for themselves. And boy oh boy! What a story those facts are telling! As for Mike Flynn, I'd love to see him reactivated, busted to O1, tried & convicted for seditious conspiracy & sent to Leavenworth. Finally . . . Uvalde. It's just wrong that the video was leaked the way it was. I sincerely hope the leaker is identified. This should never have happened. The families have suffered more than enough. They were promised they would be allowed to see the video first & that promise was broken. Even the normally very staid & unflappable Lawrence O'Donnell struggled with reporting on atrocity depicted on the tape. https://youtu.be/rAn478dU_MQ
