JOSEPH CABLE BARNES and JONATHAN DANIEL CARLTON <—straight up telenovela meets Jerry Springer meets FBI

Charge(s);18 U.S.C. § 1512(c)(2) - Obstruction of Justice/Congress, 18 U.S.C. § 1752(a)(1) - Knowingly Entering or Remaining in any Restricted Building or Grounds Without Lawful Authority, 40 U.S.C. § 5104(e)(2) - Violent Entry and Disorderly Conduct on Capitol Grounds.

The February 2021 affidavit (ECF or via my public drive) repeatedly referenced this ITV video - I’ve watched it several times since it was published on Jan 6th. You’ll note that Retired USAF Lieutenant Colonel Larry Rendall Brock Jr appears in this video (minute marker 2:34 thru 2:40) and Defendant Joseph Barnes (see minute marker 3:29 thru 3:32)

Where you can watch Defendant BARNES say “This is our house! This is our country! This is our country!”

Ultimately the FBI received three tips from witnesses who personally knew Defendant Barnes. And all three positively identified Barnes.

One of the witnesses informed the FBI that Defendant Barnes was a Vice President, at JLL Austin, TX office. JLL has subsequently removed him from their website but I was able to locate his LinkedIn profile (archived) which substantiates he worked for JLL until February of 2021.

The affidavit also disclosed the most egregious fact-toid - he’s actually profiting off the deadly insurrection by “selling” artwork. Accordingly the affidavit referenced Joe Barnes Art Facebook page (also archived) Figure Four on page 5 of the affidavit, found here (archived) - Figure five also on page 5 of the affidavit found here (archived)

Look closely at the “artwork” he’s selling https://www.joebarnesart.com/shop-art (also archived) I can not properly express the level of self restraint because seeing what “art” he’s selling —seems tawdry and offensive. No really look closely at the first three images on his website where he’s selling “art” all three “art pieces” depict the deadly insurrection.

On March 8, 2021 a Grand Jury seated in the District of Columbia handed down a five count indictment (ECF) or via my public drive. Also see the DDC Docket Report (ECF) or via my public drive - to which I say good luck Joe - sure you pleaded not guilty but I think you know how guilty you are.

Charge(s); 18 U.S.C. § 1752(a)(1) -(2) Knowingly Entering or Remaining in any Restricted Building or Grounds Without Lawful Authority, 40 U.S.C. § 5104(e)(2)(D),(G) - Violent Entry and Disorderly Conduct on Capitol Grounds.

This is literally a two for one - What’s quasi interesting is this complaint was filed on February 24, 2021 and it was just unsealed this week. Which now makes sense once you read page two (2) of the Affidavit (ECF) which reads in part:

An investigation into Bradley Wayne Weeks¹.. lead to the issuance of a complaint and arrest warrant… on January 19, 2021, for violating 18 U.S.C. § 1752(a)(1) and (2) and 40 U.S.C. § 5104(e)(2)(D),(G). WEEKS was arrested on January 21, 2021, in Florida. Information gathered during the WEEKS investigation led investigators to Danny Carlton as WEEKS’ travel companion. Investigation revealed that CARLTON’s full name is Jonathan Daniel Carlton.

Read the following paragraphs closely - that’s some next level Jerry Springer ___ and the fact that WEEKS cracked like an egg under what I assume was minimal pressure but Defendant CARLTON walked WEEKS’ soon to be wife down the aisle - I did not have that on my Insurrection Bruh’s bingo card.

Oh. Dear. Me. So let me get this straight not only did WEEKS waive his Miranda rights, voluntarily submitted to an FBI interview but then also voluntarily consented to allow the FBI Agents to search his cell phone. Also Defendant CARLTON lied and then lied about the lies

When FBI Agents confronted CARLTON about his lies; he finally admitted to contacting WEEKS shortly after his January 20, 2021 Telephonic Interview. And he was “embarrassed to have participated in the demonstration, appalled by the riot, and just wanted to distance himself from it” and then casually admits he may have deleted some text messages.

Waves HIYA Geofencing Warrant specifically Google Location Services - let me break the subtext of “lawfully obtained” that means either a search warrant or a subpoena but I’d venture to say search warrant issued for CARLTON’s google account and cell phone records. Notwithstanding that is an educated guess on my part - I mean it’s not like I haven’t been incessantly chirping about GeoFencing, Exclusion List and you dolts brought your cell phones with you to document your crime-ing

But the very last paragraph on page four and screenshot on page five piqued my curiosity and interest;

“On January 22, 2021, your affiant received the below Facebook post from an anonymous cooperating witness. The witness preserved the post and submitted it to the FBI. The post depicts a photograph of CARLTON.”

The Affidavit concludes with five pictures found on WEEKS’ phone, remember he voluntarily gave the FBI permission to search his phone. I uploaded the Affidavit to my public drive

I know that I’m some five cases behind. I am trying to get through them but I tend to get lost in the weeds of researching each defendant. Frankly I would rather error on the side of accuracy and too much information over expediency. Admittedly I did take a brief brake from the deadly insurrection but I am concerned by the lack of arrest.

And yes I know it’s not fair to ask qualitative and/or quantitative questions about the deadly Jan 6th insurrection (which left seven Americans dead) arrest. We are now seventy four plus days -and only 306 arrest? When compared to the Metropolitan PD-Summer 2020 BLM arrest - or the 140+ arrested by US Capitol Police protesting healthcare. The disparity has become increasingly uncomfortable. There I said it and I’m not sorry.
