The hearing will likely be lived steamed via the House Judiciary YouTube Channel, found here
However in the interim and should you be inclined - might I suggest that you reread this June 14, 2021 Article —I’m still flummoxed why no one is talking about the DOJ & FBI Sensitive Investigative Matter aka S-I-M.
Sensitive Investigative Matter (S.I.M.)
FBI Domestic Investigations and Operations Guide
As I previously noted —the SIMs policy, guidelines and notifications are crystal clear. “substantial evidence” of serious “grave wrong doing” Without question the Deputy Attorney General, the Attorney General, the General Counsel and other Senior DOJ (likely career) Leadership.
A matter involving a domestic public official is a "sensitive investigative matter" if the assessment or predicated investigation involves corruption or a threat to the national security.
As it relates to S.I.M. concerning the Media, News Organization and/or Reporter the guidelines are pretty clear. Again in defense of the current Department of Justice - the only reason the public now knows about the “secret subpoenas” for the New York Times, Washington Post and CNN is the blanket gag orders have been lifted…
See pages 180 thru 198 of the (highlighted and red lined copy) of the FBI Domestic Investigations and Operations Guide
On June 17, 2021 House Judiciary Committee sent Attorney General Garland a letter, which reads in part:
In multiple instances, a magistrate judge imposed a DOJ-requested gag order 1 preventing news media organizations from disclosing any knowledge of the investigation.
…one instance renewed over the course of three years
…the Department issued nondisclosure orders, which it renewed multiple times, and in one instance renewed over the course of three years. To date, the Committee is aware of no indictments resulting from these investigations, and prosecutors reportedly considered closing the investigations due to lack of evidence.
…properly predicated…cough S-I-M-s…cough
The Committee understands the Justice Department’s obligation to investigate the unauthorized disclosure of classified information, and, when an investigation is properly predicated, supports the Department’s ability to do so.
According to longstanding policy, however, Department personnel are prohibited from issuing subpoenas of this nature without authorization by the Attorney General. There are limited exceptions to this policy, none of which appear to apply here
Congress wants AG to explain the Gag Orders…
…”and others”
The Committee is now engaged in an investigation of the Trump Administration’s surveillance of Members of Congress, the news media, and others. We must determine if the Department sought these sensitive records for improper political purposes. We must ask why the Department repeatedly pursued gag orders—preventing companies from notifying their users of the sweeping information requests by federal law enforcement—despite realizing early in the effort that no criminal charges would result from these investigation
….because the news media, the Members of Congress identified in recent reports, and the former White House Counsel were so frequently targets of President Trump’s public ire, we must identify the full set of individuals who may have also been the targets of politically-motivated investigations….
“Arctic Haze” Trump era DOJ Code Name
BAD VERY BAD for current DOJ Attorneys
Remember that time someone said - Congress needs to get all communications from - here just reread the June 14, 2021 article and then read pages 1-4 of the House Judiciary June 17, 2021 letter to Attorney General Garland and then let me know when we can coffee talk… um okie Dokie?
Here I red lined the important “stuff” in the letter because I said what I said on the 14th because some of us in DC know what we know. And then some of us try to get the facts out in the public domain with typos and all<—FFS if that’s your only criticism of what I’m typing then I feel sorry for you. As you clearly intellectually stunted that you think that’s a viable criticism. 2
Spoiler it’s not and it makes you look small and petty but you already know that. However page four of the letter - soak it all in - all of it.
5) Copies of documents and communications between the National Security Division, Criminal Division, Office of Legal Counsel (OLC), Office of Legal Policy (OLP), and/or Office of the Solicitor General (SG) relating to the scope, legal justification, or predicate of any subpoena, 2703(d) order, or 3123 order filed in support of the actions identified under No. 1.
a. This should include, but is not limited to, copies of any opinions or guidance provided by PSEU, OLC, OLP, or the SG.
Copies of documents and communications between Julie Edelstein, Matt Blue, Mary McCord, Dana Boente, John C. Demers, Seth DuCharme, and/or Osmar Benvenuto relating to the actions identified under No 1.
The footnote on page 5 is in fact a shot across the bow at both the DOJ and FBI - read that footnote very carefully because that’s some serious sniper from the side shade - like a whole lot of shade -
Again I recommend you read the June 14, 2021 Article - yes I know it’s long and it’s incredibly heavy on details. But I have faith in you to read the documents and then ask questions. I also felt it was important for my readers/followers to fully understand the policies, internal DOJ/FBI guidelines, the role of the DOJ-OIG and in a weird way defending the current Attorney General.
Not to belabor this point but the DOJ-OIG can not investigate DOJ attorneys (line prosecutors up to the Attorney General - it’s literally the law - IG Act) and then read the House Judiciary June 17, 2021 letter to Attorney General Garland. And absolutely mark your calendar for June 30th - call it the pre-fireworks for July 4th…

In the June 14, 2021 Article —I explained that the only reason we know about “some of the secret subpoenas” is the blanket gag orders were lifted. I also provided you with the FBI Vault links that articulated the internal DOJ guidelines concerning S-I-M-s —I’m not trying to pimp out my own article. I took hours researching, reading and cross referencing. Then I provided my readers a pretty wide ranging report and provided documents to support my arguments. It’s up to you if you want to know the facts or continue to blindly follow less than factual people
Wait are you telling me that typos happen all the time, and there are spelling errors in our Country’s founding documents and in countless Court Orders/Memoranda/Opinions - pppffft if that’s your only criticism then I feel sorry for you that you either lack the intellect or intelligence to understand that’s a pretty weak criticism - here read the point of personal privilege from a while ago.

Thanks Filey! :-)
You are a national treasure and straight up patriot. Sending a chefs kiss to you. Enjoy the weekend.
