Roger it turns out that tax evasion, for the record not filing taxes is criminal AF and it doesn’t make you a patriot. It makes you a CRIMINAL TAX CHEAT but for now the IRS takes civil route

Oh Dear me - this is delicious. To be clear the IRS is taking the civil route. The IRS can choose civil or criminal and sometimes they choose both (albeit not concurrently) If you are a “true American” patriot. The Federal law requires you to file a federal income tax returns and to pay your taxes. If you are a “contractor” aka self employed then 1099 is what you file. If you’re an employee of a company then you’re a W2.

You don’t go around pretending to be some kind of super patriot, blabbing on Twitter, or video stream or on podcast about your infinite patriotism. Essentially “whoring yourself out” and saturating the PodCast, InfoWars and other fringe media platforms. Meanwhile you haven’t filed a federal income tax return in YEARS. No that actually makes you a pretender, tax cheat and unapologetic charlatan. But mostly a fraud. Fact Check that. I explained last week that the IRS and DOJ were fully ramped up - found here

The level of self restraint and not name checking can not be fully appreciated. But the deliciousness that people like Stone are in the IRS crosshairs brings me infinite joy. Not to belabor the point: File your ___ taxes or expect the IRS, FBI, and/or DOJ to come knocking. If one charges for premium content, or doeekimg fees - hypothetically speaking fails to count that as part of their personal income - is that considered tax evasion? Asking for a friend <snort>

“…each of the years 2007 through 2011, Roger and Nydia Stone filed joint federal income tax returns but did not pay in full the amount of the income taxes they reported as due.⁴

April 2, 2021, plus further interest and statutory additions as allowed by law less any abatements and credits, including for payments received…Despite notice and demand for payment, Roger and Nydia Stone have failed and refused to pay the entire amount of the liabilities described in paragraph 12.

Read paragraphs 17 and 18 closely - In layman’s terms because the Stones negotiated with the IRS this effectively stopped/paused the statute of limitations clock - at least that’s what the Government is arguing

Here’s the thing - you can not ignore the IRS. If they send you a notice that you’ve either failed to file a federal tax return or that you failed to file the actual taxable income - eventually they will come for the taxes. But ignoring the IRS - that’s not exactly smart.

Despite notice and demand for payment, Roger Stone has failed and refused to pay the entire amount of the liability described in paragraph 19….Taking into account all payments, credits, and abatements, as of April 2, 2021, Roger Stone owes $407,036.84 in income tax, penalties, and interest for tax year 2018, plus further interest and statutory additions that continue to accrue.

Drake Ventures:

The government also alleges that from 2018 thru 2019 Roger Stone caused various checks and wire transfers, which exceeded $1 million⁵. Again I have very little tolerance or sympathy for those who evade taxes and I have exactly zero sympathy for those who haven’t filed a federal income tax return in years. Eventually the IRS will come knocking

“By depositing and transferring these funds into the Drake Ventures’ accounts instead of their personal accounts, the Stones evaded and frustrated the IRS’s collection efforts”

Did you think I pulled the $2,000,000.00 out of thin air? I now refer you to paragraphs 31 thru 34 - in short the Stones used Drake Ventures to pay for their lifestyle, both W2 and 1099 employees…

And then the Stones entered into an agreement with the IRS to pay the taxes owed but after his 2019 indictment Roger Stone essentially gave the IRS a double middle finger salute - the treachery wasn’t sequestered to Drake Ventures - in late 2019 Bertran Trust was created and the Stones started moving money around will reneging on a previously agreed upon monthly tax payment installments…

…marked numerous badges of fraud.
