Roger Stone’s “oath keepers” security detail ISAAC STEVE STURGEON and Roberto Minuta arrested for their participation in the deadly Jan6th insurrection

The DDC grand jury indicted Sturgeon in early February 2021 - he will appear in EDNY-Brooklyn later today. Roberto Minuta was also arrested and will appear in SDNY-WhitePlains Court later today

Defendant ISAAC STEVE STURGEON

On February 5, 2021, the District Court for the District of Columbia (DDC) issued an arrest warrant pursuant to the indictment as to Defendant ISAAC STEVE STURGEON - and transmitted the arrest warrant and indictment to the Eastern District of New York (EDNY) - STURGEON is expected to make his initial appearance in EDNY-Brooklyn in the afternoon of March 8, 2021 - STURGEON was taken into Federal Custody on Saturday March 6, 2021 at JKF airport - affidavit found here,

charge(s); violations of Title 18, United States Code¹, Sections §1512(c)(2)² and 2 -obstruction of justice and aiding and abetting the same, §111(a)(1) -assaulting, resisting or impeding certain officers), §231(a)(3) (civil disorder), §1752(a)(1) -entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds), §1752(a)(2) -disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds), and §1752(a)(4) -engaging in physical violence in a restricted building or grounds and as well as 40 U.S.C. §§ 5104(e)(2)(E) -impeding passage through the Capitol grounds or buildings and §5104(e)(2)(F) -act of physical violence in the Capitol grounds or buildings

As the affidavit states, STURGEON was captured on Metropolitan Police Department Body-Worn-Camera assaulting law enforcement officers - note the disclosure of “and others…”

“STURGEON was on the grounds of the United States Capitol Building wearing a green jacket, green scarf, grey knit hat and dark backpack. Among other things, STURGEON and a group of others picked up a metal police barricade…”

“A Facebook account associated with STURGEON contains a photo, posted on or about November 28, 2020, showing STURGOEN carrying what appears to be a rifle…”

Defendant STURGEON departed America on January 24, 2021 for Kenya. Thereafter he purchased a return ticket for April 5, 2021 - the Government of Kenya ordered STURGEON he departed Kenya on Delta Flights 9522 and, landing at John F. Kennedy International Airport on March 5, 2021. Federal authorities arrested STURGEON at the airport. Guess that takes con-air to a new level

Defendant ROBERTO A. MINUTA

Charge(s): 18 U.S.C. §§ 1512(c)(2), 2 -Obstruction of an Official Proceeding and Aiding and Abetting, 18 U.S.C. §§ 1752(a)(1) -Restricted Building or Grounds, 18 U.S.C. §§ 1512(c)(1) -Tampering with Documents or Proceedings - Affidavit found here. ³

The Affidavit states in pretty clear terms that ROBERTO A. MINUTA was/is clearly aligned with the Oath Keepers. And then explains that MINUTA was the antagonist and berated US Capitol Police:

“…Minuta was in Washington, D.C., on January 6, 2021, equipped with military-style attire and gear, including apparel emblazoned with a crest related to the Oath Keepers Militia..aggressively berated and taunted U.S. Capitol police officers responsible for protecting the Capitol and the representatives inside of the Capitol…”

Again these Trump Supporters injured nearly 140 law enforcement officers, some of whom now have permeant injures. ⁴This wasn’t about expressing one’s freedom of speech - this was a conspiracy to over throw our Government (previously discussed here, here, here, here)

Furthermore things you never want to see in an affidavit “Evidence also demonstrates…” that Minuta deleted his Facebook Account in its entirety. An account he regularly posted to, created and maintained for nearly thirteen years. That kind of behavior is also known as “consciousness of guilt”…

“…Minuta participated in a video interview during which he made public statements about a Newburgh, New York, tattoo shop he owns, and his plans to open that shop in defiance of state executive orders related to the Covid-19 pandemic.”

The Affidavit also cites a May 2020 Apperance where he is proud of his Oath Keepers affiliation - the link to the May 2020 YouTube video cited in the affidavit can be found here.

The Affidavit also states that on “January 6, 2021, publicly-available photographs show individuals wearing Oath Keeper patches on their hats and chests congregated in Washington, D.C. Minuta appears to be one of the individuals present, equipped with an Oath Keepers baseball cap, a tan neck gaiter around his neck, a tactical vest with the Oath Keepers patch, a dark-colored”

I previously pointed to this video because it’s clear the Oath Keeper’s Jan 6th uniform, black shirts, tactical vest, goggles, khaki pants, orange fluorescent tape…(see article here)

Upon exiting the Capitol Minuta then berates an officer, stating in part; “All that’s left is the Second Amendment!” …the video also show Minuta wearing the same tactical gear…

Both Defendants made their initial appearance in Federal Court Today…
