Trump, Mr Giuliani, Proud Boys & Oath Keepers and the KU KLUX KLAN ACT -AMENDED Complaint. A pretty big update

Donald I hope your MTD is denied and this goes to a jury trial and I hope the jury awards a multimillion judgement against you. Suing you into financial insolvency is what I’m here for. Deal with it

On February 16, 2021 the NAACP and Rep Bernard Thompson filed a civil lawsuit in the District of Columbia. And boy is there a seismic update. I feel a sense of obligation and duty to warn my readers that the Amended Complaint is incredibly difficult to read. I personally had to take several self-care breaks because the new information is…well it’s bad and I have a lot of empathy for these members of Congress.

Significant Update

On the morning of April 7, 2021 the Plaintiffs filed the follow¹;

MOTION for Leave to File Amended Complaint;

While this civil complaint is still, very much early in the process -the updates are kind of noteworthy. There are three notable updates;

1) In early February 2021 the Plaintiffs contend that “Proud Boys International, L.L.C. was dissolved before this lawsuit was filed” and in its stead the Plaintiffs names two additional Defendants;

• War Boys LLC²

• Henry “Enrique” Tarrio

The rationale the plaintiffs cite; “…organization that was known as the Proud Boys on January 6, 2021 and others closely associated with it will be accountable for the conduct alleged in the complaint…”

2) ten Members of Congress have expressed an interest in joining this action and seek to do so at this juncture in the litigation…

and lastly 3) Plaintiffs then incorporated “additional information about the events that occurred before and on January 6, 2021… that further detail the roles of the respective Defendants in the actions alleged to violate 42 U.S.C. § 1985(1)..”

Plaintiffs Amended Complaint;

As previously mentioned, ten members of Congress are seeking to join …and I’m certain the Defendants (specifically Trump) will attempt to argue that many of these proposed plaintiffs have been long time critics of Trump. Which is factually correct but I would expect Trump to “go there” and proffer various tweets or other public statements that would seek to impugn the integrity and motivations of some of the members of Congress. Also while I have zero public documents to support my assertion but I’ll bet you a cheeseburger that Speaker Pelosi gave her blessing on the proposed 10 new plaintiffs.

The gravamen of the additional facts further elucidated by members of Congress is almost too difficult to comprehend. Fair warning what I’m about to walk you through is deeply disturbing and some might fight the first hand accounts of members of Congress triggering. So if you are easily trigger please proceed with caution because —even I found reading this upsetting…

…put simply, members of Congress actually feared for their lives and the lives of their staff. That’s why this proposed Amended complaint is important.

Again of you have PTSD and or might be triggered I’m employing you to stop reading now or at the minimum please take necessary action as to not trigger yourself. Starting at Paragraph 151 et seq these are the first hand accounts from lawmakers. Just because you can’t see PTSD or Depression does not mean it isn’t a real condition.

Plaintiff Rep Thompson recounts the series of events, movements and elucidates what he saw with his own eyes and what he heard with his own ears. The fact that US Capitol Police protected our lawmakers and none of them were physically injured or killed is a fact that should never be overlooked.

I remember on the day of Jan 6th I took a lot of heat for saying “my GOD do you know how close we came to a mass casualty event” and further noted that there were “simultaneous pipe bombs at the RNC & DNC - noting both are <3 blocks from the Capitol. I also noted the concern about the Oath Keepers & Proud Boys having significant knowledge of the underground tunnel system. Folks should take a step back before slamming the US Capitol Police, Metropolitan Police Department, DC National Guard. But with respect to the concern about the tunnels… I now refer you to paragraph 158…

Plaintiff Rep Karen Bass - read paragraph 169 - the concern was so grave that when she posted on social media, an officer instructed her to remove the post because the video exposed her location and the Officer had concerns that the rioter would use that to locate her - let that sink in.

Plaintiff Rep Stephen Cohen - (again your trigger warning) - his first hand account is difficult to read because he explained as the noise and screams became louder and more insistent he began to think about his family, his loved ones and sadly his own funeral arrangements. Read paragraph 177 - he held on to a baseball bat for hours —fearing the violent insurrectionist would discover him alone in his office. Again read it and let that sink in.

Rep Veronica Escobar - along with other members of the US House of Representatives —she was in the gallery. Her fears and concerns grew as the yelling and pounding became louder and louder. She witnessed US Capitol police whisk Speaker Pelosi out of the chamber and then saw Officers place furniture in front of the doors with guns drawn…read it and let that sink in.

Rep Pramila Jayapal - at the time of the insurrection Rep Jayapal was recently recovering from knee surgery, this greatly impacted her mobility. As Law Enforcement gave instructions to evacuate- the fear that her slow mobility might leave her unable to evacuate quickly. But the stunning first hand account of what she witnessed in the gallery - where she thought it was the safest place in the Capitol, only to realize that there wasn’t enough furniture to barricade all the doors. Once she evacuated members of Congress passed a group of insurrectionist laying “prone on the floor” - read paragraphs 191 through 210 and let that sink in.

Rep Henry “Hank” Johnson Jr - describes why his fears continued to grow, he felt like he and other members of Congress were trapped and as the screaming and banging grew louder —he was worried that he was in immediate and mortal danger, read paragraphs 213 thru 217 and let that sink in…

Rep Marcy Kaptur - recounts the noises and actions of law enforcement. The concern was so grave that a police officer instructed a photojournalist to stop taking pictures because the “flash” from the camera might give rioters an indication of where numerous lawmakers were hunkered down and waiting to make a move to evacuate. Read paragraphs 219 thru 228 and let that sink in.

Rep Barbara Lee - full disclosure I’m a fan of Representative Lee, as in I personally know her and she’s a decent, compassionate and incredibly smart lawmaker. So reading what she went through kind of felt like repeated punches to the gut. No lawmaker should ever be confronted with a creditable fear to their lives. That should transcend party lines. Read paragraphs 229 thru 237

Rep Jerry Nadler - because of his concerns and acute awareness that the rioters might target him -simply because of his roles in the important…Nadler opted to shelter in place in the Offices of the House Judiciary Committee. Because he was worried he might need to evacuate he prepared a “go bag”

Rep Maxine Waters - as the situation grew more troubling she called the US Capitol Chief to discuss what was unfolding (remember Rep Waters has been the target of numerous and credible death threats, one of which was adjudicated last year and the defendant was sentenced but a total of four defendants are currently serving lengthy prison sentences). She barricade herself in her office and waited hours. The fear is absolutely warranted and understandable given the death threats she received and continues to receive (as recently as March 2021)

Rep Bonnie Watson Coleman -she had her husband and staffer with her. As they were walking towards the Capitol physician’s office they encountered the insurrectionist. A US Capitol Police Officer literally put themselves between Rep Watson-Coleman and the insurrectionist. The Officer then lead them to an antler room and instructed them to barricade themselves in and wait.

so to those who try to downplay what Trump et al did - or question the US Capitol Police, I say this with zero respect intended - shut your f_cking bulls_it mouth. You and your ilk continues to try and defend Trump. Also delete your accounts. The sudden mask slipping off only exposes what a lot of us quietly thought you were for a long time;

that you are a Trump sympathizer who’s gas lighting —your tired patriarchy in your wink & nod to White Supremacist nonsense. Fix your damage soul or go seek professional help to fix your damaged head. You intractable recalcitrant domestic terrorism sympathizer (Lordy that felt so good- I’ve been holding that in for a long time)
