Thanks to following Dirk whatever his name is on twitter. I have been following you religiously since I first joined, back when Spicy was around. I honestly just always appreciated your frankness, your work, your diligence and integrity to the facts and truth and your respect to not divulge personal info of others.
I was not impressed with the former president's lawyers. I'm glad my impressions matched those who have legitimate insight and the legal chops to comment.
Typically opening arguments take hours and I mean hours of preparation. Not in just formulating the written argument but also practice in the oral delivery. What I saw today was worse than any 1st year performance during a mock trial (yes that’s a real thing). But Trump’s attorneys appeared disjointed, rambling and frankly incoherent. It was like a real time steam of conscious and it is as if Trump’s attorneys threw out their prepared remarks and started arguing “on the fly”
That opening video had me in tears yesterday. Luckily no video conferences schedule (poofy red eyes). Today I was lucky enough to get past my one and only video conf. before the tear jerk part of the trial started. Thank you for picking up where you left off on Twitter, then maddogpac, and now here. Your research and the way you present info (highlighting included!) are so meaningful.
Me too - but it was kind of neat to see them bring up Warren Hastings and then today the Giuliani voicemail. See there was a method to my madness in making sure y’all had all the relevant documents on the 9th https://file411.substack.com/p/trumps-second-impeachment
Glad you found me - my stalkers and trolls are relentless and it’s apparent I’m not allowed to be on Twitter because (insert reason or argument). I don’t think Twitter is the medium that is conducive to facts and research. So for now this is where you can find me. My plan is to do a daily impeachment round up while juggling my job, homeschooling the kiddos, and other life events. Hope you are staying safe and informed ...I’ll be here in my corner pumping out my research
