This is so unacceptable. I wonder if there's a statistical difference in blue versus red states.

It really is - I had a friend tell me that I should look at the data. I kept texting my friend and asked “I am I reading the data correctly” because it seemed unreal to me. Sadly the CDC data is real and it’s horrible

When I was pregnant with my second child, I thought I was going to miscarry. Went to the hospital and they told me it was gas... yeah well... I can't help but believe, the miracle of childbirth is, the fact that there are so many children born without problems, and that the majority of women survive. Responsible, adequate healthcare should be a right for every man, woman, and child, not a privilege just for some

I can’t imagine how scary and frustrating that must have been. In some respects I wasn’t paying a lot of attention to this growing public health crisis. It’s mind boggling that in 2020+ the mortality rate of pregnant mothers in America is so high. The sub-age group of 35+ for African American women is just mind boggling
