I know this article is a departure of what I typically publish. I’m also mindful that the subjected discussed herein are fraught with land-mines so I did my best to keep emotions out of it. Mainly because I can see Walker leaning into his mental health challenges and I’d never want to be viewed as weaponizing the struggle —because mental health can be a taboo issue. I wanted to share with you that Emmett Till's cousin Joshua Harris-Till asked me if I wanted to see the prescreen "Till" movie, and I felt honored he asked to share this experience with me. There are horrible incidents in the film that I had no clue about. I don't want to give away any more of the movie in case others want to see it, but would you know why it took 67 years for the Emmett Till bill to pass? It was passed in March 2022. Joshua tried to make a speech afterward, but every time, he started crying. I got up and started hugging him but had no explanation for what had happened to his family. I'm trying to educate myself in law and politics, but this was something I could not ask him to explain to me.

We campaigned together and shared our stories; however, he never mentioned Emmett until recently. He told me yesterday it was too much. The incredible thing about him is he bounces back and continues to be warrior.
Technically the pilot hauled ass and the 1 hour & 43 minute flight clocked in at 107 minutes. But yes I needed something to do because I didn’t want to talk to my seat-mate who was wearing a MAGA hat —my super judgmental side eye might have given them pause to engage me in any meaningful dialogue <snort>

Consider it done. Boston is one of my favorite American cities. Also odd that I’m literally traveling over four hours for a meeting that is likely to only last 45 minutes. Some of my bosses refer to me as “the cleaver & closer” but if a little face time helps assuaged a client’s worry —I’m at their disposal

You know that’s an EXCELLENT point and I should have thought about that prior to publishing. To your point —Walker has mental health issues (I’m not saying that as an insult, mental health is such a delicate subject) and I don’t know why someone would be okay electing a person with a clinical diagnosis of DID & has a scary track record of using that DID as an explanation to rationalize him “choking out (his now) ex-wife” and/or threatening the life of his own son. Fundamentally that’s a huge disqualification. But I absolutely agree with you on the GOP using him. As evident in Dana’s recent podcast
