Rachel Powell you’re the winner of an Eight count indictment - congrats

Back on February 5th I published this article - you might find it a decent primer https://file411.substack.com/p/bullhorn-lady-muted - I walked you through the affidavit and the oddity of how this otherwise “normal” suburban mom turned into a radicalized Insurrectionist. The journey was, in a word? Shocking

Granted this aligns with the notion Trump & his echo chamber intentionally radicalized Americans. Weaponizing them to turn on other Americans, resulting in the death of seven and over 140 law enforcement officers injured. . I lack the medical education or qualifications to make a diagnosis. I am not a subject matter expert on “radicalism, radicalization and/or cults”. Back in 2017 I took a lot of incoming fire for tweeting “Trump is an emotional Terrorist” and “Trump is indoctrinating his supporters” and “Trump’s supporters act like fully indoctrinated cult members” - again if you were to ask me do I regret tweeting those statements? Unequivocally my answer is absolutely not, it was true then and it still is.

With respect to Defendant Powell — you’ll note that the DOJ database has yet to actually published Powell’s indictment https://www.justice.gov/usao-dc/capitol-breach-cases?combine=Powell

I suppose this is why some of my very dedicated readers know to check here. True to form - YES I have the newly unsealed indictment. I also have another case which was newly unsealed. Furthermore I actually found another fun-nugget during my deep research dive. That said, I am more than happy to walk you through the new and enhanced charges, as it relates to Defendant Powell Indictment (ECF)1 -I would like to draw your attention to the red line/highlights - the enhancement of a “deadly or dangerous weapon”. This is very bad news for Defendant Powell. In three of the eight counts, there’s what’s known as an “enhancement” specifically §§1752 (a)(1) and (b)(1)(A)

For Example let’s look at COUNT THREE of the Indictment; “did use and carry deadly and dangerous weapons… an ice ax and large wooden pole” a couple of things I’d like to point out in the aforementioned sentence; 1) “did use and carry” kind of self explanatory, 2) the use of; and versus or -that’s important and yes it is actually important semantics, and 3) obviously “weapons” means plural because Defendant Powell had and used two dangerous, an ice ax and large wooden pole.

Not to belabor the point but Counts Three through Five each stare 18 U.S.C § 1752(a)(1) and (b)(1)(A)2 - Restricted building or grounds the “(b)(1)(A)” is the deadly or dangerous weapon enhancement. To help you understand how the statute is written - I’ve highlighted the relevant section and subsection but it reads in part;

(b) The punishment for a violation of subsection (a) is— (1) a fine under this title or imprisonment for not more than 10 years, or both, if (A) the person, during and in relation to the offense, uses or carries a deadly or dangerous weapon or firearm..

Pics or it didn’t happen - actually worked

You know of the thousands of videos that have been obtained and subsequently published I could never find any video that shows the insurrectionist bringing in the large wooden pipe that Defendant Powell has now been indicted classifying said “large wooden pole” ias a “dangerous or deadly weapon” —I told you a few weeks ago that I was intentionally holding some things back. As has been my standard practice, I would never want to do something that could be construed as me messing up the hard and honest work of FBI Agents and/or Prosectors. But again of all the videos of Jan 6th I could never actually find any video that showed the “large wooden pole”

So on Jan6th I quietly joined a few “private” Facebook groups. Admittedly I joined these groups with the intent to see if I could grab various videos/pictures of insurrectionist humble-bragging. Over the course of Jan 6th to present I have archived a lot of data, much of which is cloaked in secrecy by the “private group” feature. Long story short, someone in one of these private Facebook group sent me the links to his “private videos”

Also it was weird how easy it was to make a user with Liberty 1776 and a photo of a very buxom blonde. Full disclosure we are in a private Facebook group. A few weeks ago he slid into my Facebook messenger (the admin ordered him to delete his videos from the group) and after a few messages I said “hey didn’t you post a bunch of videos … where did they go” to wit he immediately sent me eleven links to videos he took (he has since marked the videos private).

I calculated the total minutes of his footage - it’s over 117 minutes of what I presume is never before seen footage. Again don’t “@“ me or ask if I’ve submitted. Of course I did my civic duty (weeks ago) and sent it to the FBI. The video below is less than 1 minute and forty seconds long.

I isolated it because again until this was sent to me I had never been able to locate the exact moment the “long wooden” pipe was carried “crowd floated” to the insurrectionist, again pay close attention to the lower left hand portion of the screen. Trust me on that.

If you are keeping track - the grand jury handed down an eight count indictment and several of the Counts have the “deadly or dangerous weapon” enhancement. Now why does that video matter in the context of Defendant Powell’s newly unsealed indictment? Again look at the last sentence of counts three, four and five - “ice ax and large wooden pole or pipe” - now rewatch this video with the indictment. My question is who helped bring that pole to the Capitol grounds? Was it brought in “pieces” - assembled on-sight if not where was the vehicle parked in proximity to the Capitol? In short how did a 10’ to possibly 16’ long wooden pole get to the crowd of insurrectionist. -Powell update complete now let’s move on to Mr Barber;

In July 2017 his hometown newspaper, the Parkersburg News and Sentinel published an article detailing Barber’s list of former legal woes
Which is ironic given on April 17, 2017 Barber posted the following picture to his Facebook Account, found here, archived here

According to the newly unsealed affidavit over the course of five days in early January 2021 - the FBI received seven tips, of which four identified Eric Barber as a former City Council-Member Parkersburg, WV - The insanity of Defendant Barber using the Facebook Feature to tag to check in at the US Capitol is both hilarious and many sad trombones.

And not to be outdone on the self beclowning front, Defendant Barber provided three of his Facebook pictures to his local newspaper—which later published a interview that Barber voluntarily gave. His pivot to blame the US Capitol police is a tactic. An unpersuasive tactic.

You stole from CSPAN?

As the Affidavit states, when the tips started coming in identifying Barber as an individual the FBI was actively seeking additional information. Those tips caused investigators to look into Barber’s Facebook post. Including a livestream video he posted, numerous Facebook post some included pictures, and lastly the various interviews Barber provided to local newspaper and television reporters about Barber’s experience. An additional avenue of inquiry pointed Law Enforcement to a separate Facebook Group which positively identified Barber on January 7th, found here, here, here, here, and here. But stealing a CSPAN folding stool and the CSPAN cameraman’s power station/charger for his iPad. Come on.

I’m going to admit, it is slightly uncomfortable to read the recent Affidavits which include various videos - because prosecutors are using Defendant Sullivan’s various videos (read more here and here)

And your patience pays off - sometimes it is actually a better course of action to marry the facts in an Affidavit with your eyeballs on the social media account disclosed in said affidavit. Such is the case regarding Defendant Barber.

So this is why I’ll keep saying - you need to read every page in the Court Filing because if you do, your efforts will payoff. Meaning if you read the documents you can actually identify the dots and then you have the info to connect the dots. I genuinely wish one of my readers would tag @JackiDailyShow with this article4. Why?

Deason posted a video on her Facebook timeline on January 7, 2021 —Defendant Barber then “re-posted” her video on his Facebook Timeline. And then I realized; 1) she filmed it inside the Capitol, and 2) the <1minute long video actually captures both the Zip-Tie-Insurrectionist and his Mommy-Insurrectionist walking into the Capitol. Oh and I did find a Quasi-complete thread-app (archived here) The thought of having to redo my Munchel & Eisenhart research, just a tad bit frustrating. I wonder what the Texas Public Policy Foundation would feel knowing one of their employees traveled to DC and continued to perpetrate Trump’s Big Lie - see LinkedIn profile (according to some - if you don’t have LinkedIn account then you are not employed.
