FIVE PROUD BOYS; William Chrestman, Louis Enrique Colon & Christopher Kuehne were taken into custody near Kansas City, MO -Cory & Felicia Konold, brother & sister, arrested in AZ
Proud Boys nets five new arrest and boy the affidavit is chilling. Orange Fluorescent Tape strategically placed. A family that crimes together gets charged together #ByeFelicia #ByeGirlBye
If you are presently researching Parler, social media video and other photographic databases. Might I suggest that you start looking for assailants with Orange Fluorescent Tape. Operating in small pods as one cohesive unit. Sadly I can’t retweet my threads from early January. I spent a lot of time researching and vetting before I tweeted those threads. Making note of how some groups were moving in coordination and had what appeared to be innocuous tape and/or badges or other recognizable adornments on their insurrectionist wardrobe.
And yet just over thirty days later HERE. WE. ARE.
I would also Bookmark ProPublica’s Special Report/Parler/Video project but in the meantime this Wall Street Journal Video is an excellent primer

Chrestman Affidavit DOJ-OPA via my public drive and his Detention Hearing scheduled for 2/17/2021 at 01:30 PM in KC Courtroom
The Government Motion Pre-trial Detention ECF/PACER (or via my public drive). Notably on Feb 11, 2021 a search warrant was executed at Defendant Chrestman’s home and agents were unable to locate any firearms. In particular there is a rifle that Chrestman had posted on social media. Agents believe this rifle had extra sentimental value to Chrestman. After further investigation, agents learned that Chrestman asked an “associate” to “keep his firearms” and this occurred after the January 6th Insurrection:
“…there is a serious risk that he will obstruct or attempt to obstruct justice; or will threaten, injure, or intimidate a prospective witness (or attempt to do so…”
Prosectors also disclose in their Pretrial Detention that Defendant Chrestman took numerous and deliberate steps to either hide or destroy evidence. Prosecutors alleged the absence of evidence when executing the search warrant, is particularly problematic. For example he attempted to hide his cell phone in one of his children’s dresser drawers. He removed the house numbers from his home - the FBI had his home under surveillance starting on Jan 19, 2021. However the search warrant wasn’t executed until Feb 11, 2021
Prosectors allege that Chrestman is a Proud Boys leader. As the insurrectionist swarmed our Capitol, Chrestman and his four co-conspirators were at the front of the group - therefore taking a leadership role. This matters concerning the conspiracy charge. During the January 6th Insurrection, Chrestman made numerous threats towards law enforcement. But this is by far one of the most jarring arguments in support of Pretrial Detention
Releasing Defendant Chrestman to rejoin their fold and plan their next attack poses a potentially catastrophic risk of danger to the community.
AFFIDAVIT to the Four other Defendants:
Affidavit ECF/PACER Louis Enrique Colon and were taken into custody near Kansas City, Missouri Cory and Felicia Konold, brother and sister, were arrested in Arizona. All taken into Federal custody without incident. Each have been charged with: 18 U.S.C. §§ 371, 231(a)(3), §1512(c)(2), §1752(a)(1) and (2), and 40 U.S.C. §§ 5104(e)(2)(D) and (G) for their unlawful conduct at the U.S. Capitol
The Prosectors allege that the group not only moved within close proximity to each other outside but also inside the Capitol. The defendants also appeared to have communicated with hand gestures. The purpose of the Orange Florescent tape was to allow for easier identification within the massive crowd. That level of planning is almost out of a Military playbook.
KUEHNE, carried rolls of fluorescent orange tape….strips of similar-style orange tape were strategically worn by each of the SUBJECTS as well as others in the crowd…. SUBJECTS’ coordination and planning, CHRESTMAN, KUEHNE, and COLON wore tactical style gear, including helmets and gloves, and CHRESTMAN arrived at the Capitol with a respirator and wooden club or axe handle disguised as a flag.
Additionally defendant CHRESTMAN was also charged with violations of 18 U.S.C. § 115(a)(1)(B) for “his threats to assault a Federal law enforcement officer, and 18 U.S.C. §§ 1752(a)(1) – (2), 1752(b)(1)(A) for the use and carrying of a dangerous weapon during the commission of the offense” - see the Government’s
Footnotes, always read the footnotes. For Example the affidavit states the following:
that there may be more persons involved in this particular conspiracy than the persons described throughout this affidavit, and the investigation is ongoing”
All of the Defendants wore tactical-style gear, including helmets and gloves. Things you never want to see in an affidavit - like I said the nail in the preverbal coffin? Law Enforcement collected cell phone data and cell tower records in and around the US Capitol
That’s right law enforcement obtained records from cell providers and from Google. Remember that nearly 18 month old thread I created about Google and GeoFencing (archive-ish and here)? It is unclear if law enforcement used a Geofencing warrant.
However in the context of the Insurrection at our Capitol and expediency, this is one time that I am okay with GeoFencing warrants. Again it’s unclear if that was used in this investigation but it would not shock me. Yes, Twitter can be a bit of a cesspool but as detailed on footnote 2 many users on Twitter misidentified William CHRESTMAN as Gavin McInnes..
records produced by CHRESTMAN’s wireless cell phone provider in response to legal process, CHRESTMAN is listed as the owner of a cell phone number (“CHRESTMAN cell”). Lawfully-obtained Google records show that a Google account associated with the CHRESTMAN cell number was connected to Google services
Paragraph 11 of the affidavit provided us with a detailed totality of the damaged these insurrectionist causes. Millions of dollars in damage to a Building that is the very heart of our living & breathing Democracy.
At least 81 US Capitol Police Officers and at least 58 Metropolitan PD Officers were injured. A few days ago I wrote about the Officers injuries. The violent mob also assaulted numerous reporters and did thousands of dollars of damage to their equipment.
No really every one of Defendants cell phone pinged off cellular towers near the Capitol, but of all five of the defendants. The dingus-insurrectionist award goes to FELICIA KONOLD et al. Who voluntarily submitted to a FBI interview- telephonic held but had the interview on her cell phone.

“You fucking lead, and everyone had my back, dude, everyone, fucking wall, legit, in the air, up against the fence, [unintelligible], three lines of police, fence, me, not even on the ground, my feet weren’t even on the ground, all my boys, behind me, holding me up…in the air, pushing back. We fucking did it”
And then Ethan Nordean1 2Joe Biggs3 Pepe4 all make an appearance in the Affidavit. The video the affiant references was also presented by the House Impeachment Managers. 5
See pages 18 through 25 of the Affidavit, the Five Defendants are in this video (note the orange tape) and yes I managed to archive it before Twitter took my account down. Pay close attention to the Orange tape on the helmets (first 11 seconds) So there’s that fun nugget.
And now you should be semi-caught up
From the Law Enforcement POV
Bye Felicia fits perfectly here.
What horrible, dangerous people.
