Very sad for your friend. It must be difficult to watch them go through this stress. Today is another one for the history books. The road is arduous but the patriots must stick to their fervent dedication to keeping our democracy alive. It is incumbent on all of us but a special hat tip to those who return to the Capitol in the aftermath of the Trump era & the insurrection. We will not know for years the long lasting impact it has had on the dedicated public servants. May justice prevail.
Officer Hodges reading into the record the definition of a domestic terrorist to support his label of the insurrectionist terrorists as such was brilliant. I look at faces and eyes in my job, the officers testifying today are suffering emotionally and physically and
yet again were profiles in courage: they compartmentalized their suffering and showed up to go on the record with facts previously supported by first-person accounts and videos yet have been gas-lit by right-wing media and the Maga Qnon Republicans to deny and deny their validity. The video introduced at the hearing had a few clips I had not seen before and I spent most of my morning crying over all of this and praying for the survival of all of the victims because PTSD can be a creeper and linger with victims long after the actual traumatic event(s ). I have one takeaway question at this point I'm sure I'll have more but what I really question and resent is why the mainstream media whether left right or middle refused initially to show the gallows the hanging ropes that were present that day or show video clips of insurrectionist terrorists calling for the hangings of members of Congress. I don't want my news sanitize like that and I'm grateful that today was the first time we heard the brutal reality of those lynching or hanging comments juxtapositioned with pictures of the actual hanging rope gallows CONSTRUCTED BY THE DOMESTIC TERRORISTS. Sorry, I felt like yelling, all good now. Thank u Filey.
I watched the witnesses read their statements this morning. It was gut wrenching, to say the least. We are forever grateful to the brave men and women that defended the capitol on January 6th. I can't believe I'm quoting a member of the GOP without sarcasm but, it's the truth...

When in all actuality 2 doesn't exist because we can never actually get from 0 to 1 when taking in the components of infinity, so for purposes of understanding what is meant by adding a determined amount of 2 with another determined amount of 2 they arrive at 4. - SNORT
