The House Select Committee on January 6th - so not messing around

  • seeking records from the Executive Branch dealing with a range of matters relevant to the January 6th attack and the runup to that day’s violence, including communications within and among the White House and Executive Branch agencies during the leadup to January 6th and on that day;

  • attempts to place politically loyal personnel in senior positions across government after the election;

  • the planning, organization, funding, and response to events in Washington, DC on January 5th and 6th and earlier; and attempts to subvert the rule of law, overturn the results of the November 3rd, 2020 election, or impede the peaceful transfer of power

The sweeping request sought White House records from the National Archives and Records Administration and records from seven other Executive Branch agencies.

Let’s take peak at each letter the Committee sent out to the following agencies received record demands from the Select Committee:

  • National Archives and Records Administration

  • Department of Defense

  • Department of Homeland Security

  • Department of the Interior

  • Department of Justice

  • Federal Bureau of Investigation

  • National Counterterrorism Center

  • Office of the Director of National Intelligence

Request # 4. Hello there…

I’ll tell you that the beltway rumor was it took Trump several “takes” to make the video —where he told the Domestic Terrorist (of which he largely radicalized) just “how special and loved” they are/were. Again that was a rumor told to me by three separate sources at the White House & DOJ. Based on the select committee’s recent request I’m beginning to think that rumor might have been true but it was shared with me in confidence, which is why I never spoke about it publicly. And yes I received permission to “put it out there” in the public fora…

All video communications recorded of the President speaking on January 6, 2021, and all documents and communications related thereto, including communications involving the President or any other officials or employees in the Executive Office of the President or the Office of the Vice President. This request specifically includes videos of communications released to the public and communications recorded but not released to the public, any documents or other communications identifying or discussing the content of those videos.

Request # 7 -inject this directly into my veins:

Which reads in part -no really how are Kash Patel, Acting Defense Secretary Miller, Ezra Cohen-Watnick, Derek J. Harvey - or the Jan6th rally (two permits) On February 10th I provided you to links for the United States Park Service permits; Women America First Permit link to permit here. The Silent Majority Permit can be found here -not in this tranche of request? Oh wait there’s an entire subsection dedicated to the aforementioned and that delights the fig newtons outta me…(see pages 9 thru 11)

All documents and communications within the White House on January 6, 2021, relating in any way to the following:

  • the January 6, 2021, rally;

  • the January 6, 2021, march to the Capitol;

  • the January 6, 2021, violence at the Capitol;

  • any aspect of the Joint Session where Congress was counting electoral votes; any legal, political, or other strategy regarding the counting of electoral votes; Donald J. Trump;nVice President Pence;

  • the president’s tweets, speech, any other public communications on that date;

  • the President’s recording of video for release on that date and any outtakes;Nreactions, summaries, or characterizations of any public speeches or other communications by Donald Trump or other public speakers on that date;

  • efforts to persuade the President to deliver any particular message to people at or near the Capitol;

  • Sarah Matthews;

  • Hope Hicks;

  • Mark Meadows;

  • Dan Scavino;

  • Pat Cipollone;

  • Marc Short;

  • Patrick Philbin;

  • Eric Herschmann;

  • Stephan Miller;

  • Greg Jacob;

  • Matthew Pottinger;

  • Keith Kellogg;

  • Robert O’Brien;

  • Peter Navarro;

  • Ben Williamson;

  • Cassidy Hutchinson;

  • Molly Michael;

  • Nicholas “Nick” Luna;

  • Judd Deere;

  • Kayleigh McEnany;

  • Ivanka Trump;

  • Eric Trump;

  • Lara Trump;

  • Donald Trump, Jr.;

  • Jared Kushner;

  • Melania Trump;

  • Kimberly Guilfoyle;

  • Steve Bannon;

  • Michael Flynn;

  • Rudolph “Rudy” Giuliani;

  • Roger Stone;

  • any Member of Congress or congressional staff; or the Department of Defense, the Department of Justice, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of the Interior, or any element of the National Guard.

But I’ll take request No 10 for all the marbles…

10. All call logs and telephone records identifying calls placed to or from any individuals identified in (7) above.

Oh. My. The House Select Committee is not messing around - at all -the additional request category is freaking amazing:

Pages 7 and 8 -Holy Shittlestix

I mean look at the breadth of the Select Committee’s request. I suppose a concise version would be - produce any and all communications, documents etc from anyone in the Trump orbit and perhaps I overlooked it but I didn’t see any “encrypted communications” because boy wonder aka Jared Kushner used WhatsApp like you and I brush our teeth…

(b) Recruitment, Planning, Coordination, and Other Preparations for the Rallies Leading up to and Including January 6th and the Violence on January 6th

From April 1, 2020, through January 20, 2021, all documents and communications concerning the 2020 election and relating to the following individuals:

(d) What the President Knew About the Election’s Likely Outcome Before the Election Results and How He Characterized the Validity of the Nation’s Election System

(e) Responsibilities in the Transfer of Power and the Obligation to Follow the Rule of Law…

Look at what the House Select Committee wants as it relates to my favorite members of Trump’s cabal -Kash “Order of Ineptitude” Patel while some might wonder why is the select committee focused on the Department of Defense -I’m going to remind you that we’ve talked about why…

Twenty-Fifth Amendment

Apologies apparently when I set this article to publish I used a previous draft because I was like WTFINGF where’s the relevant sections on pages 11 and 12 —well Filey is not as smart as I think I am…

Literally on Page 11 of 12 👇🏻

  1. From November 3, 2020, through January 20, 2021, all documents and communications relating to Jeffrey Clark.

  2. From November 3, 2020, through January 20, 2021, all documents and communications related to the Twenty-Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution

And this is why one must read all of the pages —yes I know it’s a lot of information but trust me

Read page 12 of the letter

Because let me tell you page 12 is absolutely splendiferous to read for a variety of reasons. Setting aside my unabated disgust I have for Kash Patel but his name is all over this 12 page letter and I certainly hope that the Select Committee will amend their request to include “encrypted applications” because I know for a fact Kash has at least three cellphones.

  1. From January 6, 2021, through January 20, 2021, all documents and communications related to the mental stability of Donald Trump or his fitness for office.

  2. Any documents and communications relating to instructions to stop or delay preparation for the transition of administrations.

  3. All communications between White House personnel and General Services Administration (GSA) Administrator Emily Murphy or other GSA officials relating to “ascertainment” under the Presidential Transition Act. This includes but is not limited to communications discussing the recognition of Joseph Biden as the winner of the 2020 Presidential election.

Andrii Derkach and Chanel Rion should be scared…

Any documents and communications relating to foreign influence in the United States 2020 Presidential election through social media narratives and disinformation.

Yes I’m never going to use a Capital P when it comes to president Trump because my meta is petty AF

Pretty impressive. The scope of this will be a huge undertaking. Interesting to see what the other two video takes will show. Trump was notorious for not following scripts. Interested to see how the phone logs and communications pan out. One of the most upsetting as well as embarrassing for our country, was by placing Trump ilk in jobs they had no qualifications for in order to damage out institutions, Patel and others need to be held accountable. Hoping more comes out about the almost midnight tour Boebert took without proper escort or documentation that supports her need to do a midnight tour. After 1/6, we heard accounts of certain republican members doing reconnaissance as well as inviting the Proud Boys to the WH. On a separate note, aside from all the other stomach churning pieces, was the idea of the Proud Boys or any other MAGA insurrectionist walking through the Capitol or halls of Congress. So much history and so many proud artifacts or artwork to be denigrated by their presence. When Trump invited Palin and Kid Rock to make mockery of HRC’s portrait or pose with their stupid thumbs up in the Oval Office, it was a gut punch of how far we had fallen. Did not know what treachery lay ahead. 1/6 will forever be a tragic day in our history with very few events to compare. It was painful to watch and as we sort through the aftermath, we have the daunting task of searching for the facts. Many of those will terrify us when people realize how close we came to losing it all.
