Full disclosure I updated the article to drill down further on “it’s unclear if Matt Geatz knew about the investigation” (this is why I’m typically suspect if Maggy is on the by-line). I added the indictments (from the 2 previous articles) and walked you through the dates of the various indictments —guess I should not have scheduled the publication in the middle of the night last night...
He keeps trying (and failing) to copy the Former Guy's scum level. His brand of stupid is astounding though. My question is, who protected him up this point? You don't make it this far without some level of protection above and beyond "white privilege".

As you say, this seems unusual, given the many other quashed comeuppances. As far as I recall, the only other exception was Barr's failure to endorse the *2020 election was rigged; Trump won* narrative

—> my educated guess is Barr didn’t tell Trump or the White House Counsel’s office. Don’t get me wrong I still think Barf is a POS but I do think even for Barr child sex trafficking and Prostitution is a bridge too far. Remember he’s Catholic and I had the unpleasant experience of siting behind him in a pew at a Vienna VA church. Well Daddy Gaetz enabled this behavior for most of Baby Gaetz’s life —the 2 DUIs but he doesn’t have that kind of juice/sway in DC. or at the DOJ.
