Roger that -hence why I specifically pointed out the NY AG’s examples —particularly the Seven Springs Property, LA Golf Course, BedMinster —the “cheated the IRS out of taxes” <—that alone absolutely confirmed James is in fact zeroing in on Trump’s prolific use of Conservation Easements. Remember all the shit I took on Twitter in early 2017 - yet here we are and I’m kind of like- bejesus what took any so long to pull the trigger. Trump has fleeced too many small towns, counties, states out of tens of millions of dollars (over/under the real valuation of his shitty properties. Weird how almost five years ago my predictions appear to be kind of rock solid… but meh whadda I know <snort>

So good. I had actually screen shot a few of your conservation easement threads on unrelated properties (FL) but lost them when I got a new PC. I am so glad you have an expansive accordion file. There's a whole lot of "she done told you" we're going through now!

Question, can they take the 5th?

Excellent question - in the NY AG’s press release and subsequent court filings - AG James’ disclosure that several senior Trump Org officials did in fact invoke their fifth amendment right. Based on the filings (for me) that disclosure confirms what some of us speculated —that during the investigation, (as in interviews and/or deposition) several folks in Trump’s orbit did invoke their 5thA right. I hope my response makes sense. I’m operating on <3 hours sleep>

What an article! I think this is my favorite tidbit . . . "Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg admitted that the value of Mr. Trump’s apartment was overstated by “give or take” $200 million." What's a matter folks? Batteries died in your calculator? "Give or take $200M" is a rather large mistake to make. 🤣🤣🤣 As for who's going to flip first, my money's on Vanky. I'm thinking JK will convince her it's best for their happy little family to give up Daddy & try to keep her skinny ass out of jail. Jr. is still hoping to make Daddy love him & I'm not sure Eric is smart enough to read the writing on the wall. So yeah, I say Ivanka flips first. Also, as an aside, has anybody heard anything from Ivanna recently? Just wondering what she's doing with herself these days while her ex-husband & her adult children try to stay out of prison.

I am genuinely looking forward for the Trump Family Lord of the Flies because we all know these are vipers and eventually Vipers turn on each other or morph into an ouroboros… Here’s how I see it going:

Eric & Ivanka turn on Trump Jr but not their daddy

Trump Jr returns fire and turns on all of them

Trump Sr sitting in his lazy boy recliner double fisting his two scoops of ice cream and McDonald’s Big Mac watching his three (adult) anchor babies shanking each other.

I don’t like to relish in a family’s downfall but I am looking forward to the anchor babies going to the mat trying to take each other down

I was so sleepy when I published that article at 2:30AM because I spent about 3 hours reading all the new filings -because I genuinely do read every page of a document before I publish an article - and if I haven’t read the full document(s) I tend to be upfront & disclose that. Glad you found this informative

BLOOP - like I’ve said all along

CONSERVATION/PRESERVATION EASEMENTS

“Seven Springs

Seven Springs is a 212-acre property in Westchester County, purchased by the Trump Organization in 1995. In 2004, the Trump Organization valued the property at $80 million; in 2007 they valued it at $200 million; and by 2012, they valued it at $291 million. The principal basis of this last valuation was the contention that the property was zoned for nine luxurious homes worth a supposed $161 million of profit. Two separate, professional appraisers valued the lots that were supposedly going to be developed at mere fractions of the prices used in the Trump Statement of Financial Condition. After receiving the March 2016 appraisal, which valued the property at $56 million, Mr. Trump’s subsequent financial statement was changed in a manner that disguised what would otherwise have appeared as a more than 80 percent drop in the value of Seven Springs (from $291 million to $56 million) by moving the property to a catch-all category where no asset was itemized. “

This is likely why the NYAG is now taking lead 5 out of the 7 properties are NOT in NYC and I don’t care what the Blue-QANON says -they are dead wrong it’s the easements

I read on a non-blue-anon tweet that the NYAG has limited authority to actually bring prosecutions, but her filings can create a roadmap for others to bring charges. Any thoughts on that?

No disrespect intended but that Blue QANON needs to STFU because they do not have an iota of the things they tweet about. Good lordt

Let me clarify - they're saying Tish James has a limited criminal case since the DA is charging that part. She is pursuing the civil case. I am confused because I thought fraud was a criminal issue and I can't understand the purpose of a civil case brought by the state. I thought the state only did criminal charges.

Layperson here with limited legal knowledge so I'm just trying to understand how the system works.

Also, I remember in the emoluments case, the dismissal was due to lack of standing. Can that be applied here?

Which in of itself is an odd statement (them NOT you) —given the NY AG is working with the DA who’s empaneled a “special grand jury: —but the other salient point here is jurisdiction -specifically the NY AG has jurisdiction for the state whereas the DA is limited to Manhattan. Given that several of the properties in question are outside of Manhattan. Re a civil case: sometimes a prosecutor will initiate a civil case just to shake the tree & see if there are criminal actions. Then the civil case can easily pivot to a criminal case. I guess I don’t understand the premise of the Blue QANON’s statements largely because my 1st impression is it’s largely uninformed and is indicative of a person who doesn’t fully understand how a complex criminal case is investigated. That criticism is no way intend for you - it’s a generalized statement regarding some of the crap I see on Twitter from Blue QANON. I don’t know if it’s true ignorance of the law, the state AG’s role and working in tandem with the DA. From a hierarchical standpoint a State AG has a much broader jurisdiction versus a DA. I hope that makes sense because I’m functioning on minimal sleep & I tend to get wordy
