It’s almost like someone has been quietly filing their files and occasionally dumps them for the public to review. When I tell you Rep Scott Perry needs to hire a decent attorney: HE DOES.
Once upon a time -many many months ago some PITA File was like the Committee needs to haul their fellow House member, Scott Perry in for a transcribed interview because Rep Scott (I love White Nationalist) Perry is one step removed for being a straight QANON -Domestic Terrorist. As noted last summer I gave my readers a pretty decent deep dive into why Rep Scott Perry betrayed his oath of Office, his military oath and why he should be expelled from the House Chamber.
The man is not a patriot. The man willingly and actively participated in a conspiracy to attack our Democracy. And look a lot of people’s sudden interest in Rep Scott Perry —while some of us for months have quietly dropped research files on this POS.
Yes I’m calling a current member of Congress a POS and I certainly hope the Dept of Defense is looking into Perry’s finances -emoluments something something - your oath when serving in our Military is a goddamn lifetime Oath and for the life of me I do not understand how he wasn’t on the radar sooner. But at least now he is. When I tell you that Rep Scott Perry is a POS that’s because I have first hand knowledge of how he comports himself and how he treats his staffers.
And then proceeded to closely monitor the House Select Committee on Jan6th and last week might have said “I’m comfortable assigning Scott Perry as the member of Congress who texted Mark Meadows” via an encrypted platform like. Signal or WhatsApp -no seriously it is DC worst kept secret that Trump and his sycophants (that includes members of Congress) used encrypted apps to communicate.

Because the House Select Committee on Jan6th just released this letter they sent to their fellow colleague Rep Scott (POS) Perry -and frankly I’m delighted by this letter, yet I can’t help but think “geez what took you so long” -but now that it has been published pay attention to what I highlighted and redlined -it’s pretty important.

…relating to an effort by former President Trump and others to install Mr. Jeffrey Clark in the days before January 6, 2021, as acting Attorney General of the United States…considered appointing Jeffrey Clark as acting Attorney General, as Mr. Clark pressed his Department of Justice superiors to use agency authorities to challenge the election results.
…We are also aware that you had multiple text and other communications with President Trump’s former Chief of Staff regarding Mr. Clark—and we also have evidence indicating that in that time frame you sent communications to the former Chief of Staff using the encrypted Signal app. Mr. Clark has informed us that he plans to invoke his 5th Amendment right against self-incrimination in anticipation of a deposition to be conducted by the Committee.
Rep Scott Perry really should hire a decent attorney forthwith because it’s about to get “real”…

the Select Committee seeks your voluntary cooperation in addressing each of these issues. We also ask that you provide us with all relevant electronic or other communications on these and other topics related to January 6th, including your communications with the Trump legal team, the former President himself, and others who were involved in planning the events of January 6th.
Whispers they need to ask Rep Perry direct questions about his communications with Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani and (importantly here and yes I withheld this in my previous reporting because I was asked to) Pa. Sen. Doug Mastriano and the Committee should really look at asking Fred Scavo see the September 2021 Scavo plea agreement because he’s been rather chatty with investigators and I’m certain that it will be worthwhile for the Select Committee to ask Mr Scavo if he and Perry ever communicated. My preliminary research shows there’s definitely an avenue of question the Committee should ask regarding Rep Perry
So I guess we just have to wait and see -also did you note the other fact nugget on page 2 of the letter? Jeff Clark plans to “invoke the fifth” -if interested I recently wrote about innovation of the fifth…you do not plead the fifth and I literally want to reach through the internet and slap the stupid out of the deep stupid people who say “he’s gonna plead the fifth” -you do not plead it, you invoke it.
And with that - I literally just walked in the door from my workday which started at 5AM - so I’m just catching up on todays crush of news. But perspective Pennsylvania comes in as the 3rd state with the most Jan6th Defendants, earlier this month Yahoo News published a very detailed list of Jan6th Defendants and I recommend that you read that article because Rep Scott Perry isn’t a Defendant (yet) but I can tell you, just as I’m sure the sun will rise tomorrow morning that Rep Scott Perry is in it up to his eyeballs. I would absolutely recommend that the Select Committee on Jan6th also subpoena the Architect of the Capitol -you want to specifically ask the AOC for a list of any person who requested the schematic drawings of the underground tunnels. Yes I’m telling you there actual fire there, not smoke but actual fire. Pity that twitter research is gone but yes I’ll keep screaming into the abyss about the AOC and tunnels and other not well known stairwells within the Capitol building…
As I previously mentioned Monday thru Wednesday is my 72 hours of Dante’s fifth circle of hell and this severely limits my extracurricular activities —although I still see the various Blue QANON pushing their Trump-Mob narrative. At this point I’m vacillating between pure pity and rage. Again it is not my job to tell you who to believe or what to follow on social media but the fact is Blue QANON still trafficking in that disinformation and flawed narrative that has no basis in actual facts —the choice is yours I for one stopped believing the Blue QANON on December 2019 -I was tired of their grifting and “reporting” that wasn’t remotely base in facts.
