You know, at first when I heard the reporting I thought, yeah, an old white Italian guy, I'm really surprised - NOT. I was hoping it was the angry orange lashing out. I feel sorry for the women in his family. I'm sure they had some clues, but thought he was harmless. How did their friends react to him? Is he the uncle that insists he has to hug you tight and kiss you on the lips? That even the males in the family know all the females cringe when he's around? Ya gotta wonder...
p.s. I'm from an Italian family, and there is currently one in his 80's. The other one died while serving time in prison for sexual abuse.
Seems the last few years have started to unwind the stronghold that wealthy men in power have over victims reporting assault, abuse & harassment. Once Weinstein’s thirty year rape/assault career unraveled and was finally adjudicated, we are about to see that women will not back down or accept this anymore. Cosby served some time and perhaps not enough, but this pattern of using position of power into bullying women not to report or threatening careers or attacking them publicly, will not be an enduring strategy. We are getting smarter about abuse, harassment and those who manipulate and navigate their behaviors by hiding behind their power. Chino must resign. This won’t go away but it’s certainly the beginning of an end to these men who’ve managed to hide behind their office. This is definitely more than enough to force his resignation. Anyone else would be facing potential charges.

While he may have gotten NY through the worst of Covid, this is absolutely unacceptable behavior, so he must resign.
Was he asleep during the me too movement, or like many serial abusers, did he think these standards didn't or wouldn't apply to him?

I don’t disagree. My only ask is that his replacement be Republican proof and any of their fuckery afoot with regard to Trump.
I didn't want it to be true because I like Cuomo but, yes, he needs to step down. :/
