I hope the lawsuit works … this is so disheartening …in my biased non-lawyer mind I cannot fathom how their bs legislation will stand up to ADA and rehabilitation acts at minimum. When I read these excerpts it just sounds plain wrong. (It is).

Glad to see ADA and Section 504 utilized. This would completely take away my son's ability to vote. Fortunately I live in CA, we now all get ballots in the mail so he can more readily vote. I'm surprised there isn't more involvement and opposition by retired/senior/elderly advocate groups and they will be heavily impacted as well.

The Section 504 is probably one of the strongest arguments because ADA and 508 compliance isn’t optional. I’m glad that your son isn’t adversely impacted. I have family in Texas and over the weekend I told them - we won’t be visiting until 2025…I’m kidding -sort of

To date I’m not certain the DOJ will step in but it seems completely reasonable to ask, why not… I don’t think they will given the Conditional Dismissal of Paxton.
