That’s such a good question. Based on the Senate Resolution 47, see footnote 6 in yesterday’s article - that was not contemplated. It’s possible that the Senate could vote on a new resolution for a vote by secret ballot but that is really unlikely. To answer your second question - YES I genuinely believe if the vote was done via a secret ballot that would absolutely change the vote but again before that wasn’t agreed upon at the commencement of the trial, I’m 95% positive that a secret ballot can not occur because Trump would immediately move to challenge it https://file411.substack.com/p/trumps-second-impeachment-day-1-summary
