Infrastructure Week is HERE -subpoena lalapalooza via House Select Committee
I can not tell you how incredibly satisfying it is to see Kash Patel’s name on a subpoena. He is a National Security Risk and he should never hold any kind of security clearance or Government Job
Recent Informational Background
Slow burn. A slow yet steady burn. That’s how I would describe the House Select Committee on Jan6th, a slow steady burn. On August 27, 2021 the Select Committee unleashed a torrent of document productions. To date I’m unaware of any occasion in which the Biden Administration has either blocked document/record production, invoked executive privilege or purposefully slow walked record productions…as it relates to the January 6th Domestic Terror attack.
Also, should you be inclined, I would recommend other previous articles. See the June House Oversight found here, here, here ← that one is one of my favorite articles but a close second to this article 1 because who else would take the time to meticulously transcribe the handwritten notes?
You get a subpoena. He gets a subpoena. You all get subpoenas… and a Deposition too
When you are investigating a matter —the object is to obtain (and preferably voluntarily) as many root-source documents as you can. You also have to know that symmetrical communications means you need to obtain all sides, which can include 3rd parties. Visualize a dart board, a methodical investigation generally means you start from the outside and work your way through to the actual bullseye. With the September 23, 2021 subpoenas — the following August 25, 2021 article —I walked you through how mind numbing it was to see, in near real-time disinformation falsely stating the Select Committee “doesn’t have subpoena power” —when the actual facts unequivocally state the Select Committee does have subpoena power. I’ll never fully understand why expediency always seem override accuracy. Or why individuals choose to fully read the underlying documents. The irony is, if you take the time to read said documents you learn a bunch of facts. For Example; Read the last sentence of the 1st paragraph on page 1 - soak it in because the subpoena is not only for a schedule of documents but it also “commands” <insert Trump Sycophant’s name> “to appear for a deposition…”
Moreover in the communique to former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows —the Select Committee appears to have zeroed in on Jan 5th and Jan 6th - but reread the last sentence in the 3rd paragraph on page 1…
Amy Kramer -Woman for America First…
It’s not like some of us have been saying - wait for the Amy Kramer files to drop, found here I am genuinely looking forward to Amy having her well deserved comeuppance. Notwithstanding on February 10th I provided you to links for the United States Park Service permits; Women America First Permit (waves hiya Amy Kramer) link to permit here. The Silent Majority Permit can be found here -
Stephen “strap in” Bannon…
For what it’s worth, Trump and Bannon the select committee has reason to believe the public reporting in which Steve Bannon reportedly communicated with former President Trump;
December 30th, 2020, urging him to focus his efforts on January 6th.
Mr. Bannon also reportedly attended a gathering at the Willard Hotel on January 5th, 2021, as part of an effort to persuade Members of Congress to block the certification of the election the next day.
Mr. Bannon is also quoted as stating, on January 5th, that “[a]ll Hell is going to break loose tomorrow.”
It is actually unclear but public data suggest that Steve “Bannon’s War Room” January, 5, 2021, broadcast likely occurred at the Willard Hotel —and this is important because this is the day before Trump’s supporters (whom I think we can state were radicalized) swarmed the U.S. Capitol. Steve Bannon’s quote can be heard at the 29:28 minute mark of episode 631 of Bannon’s War Room. Below is a full excerpt of his total comments:
“All hell is going to break loose tomorrow…Just understand this: All hell is going to break loose tomorrow. It’s going to be moving. It’s going to be quick.”
So many people said, ‘Man, if I was in revolution, I would be in Washington.’ Well, this is your time in history.”
“It’s all converging, and now we’re on the point of attack tomorrow. … And all I can say is: Strap in. You have made this happen, and tomorrow it’s game day.”
And for the record I’ve realized just how much I hate people who say “strap in”also you’ll note the January 5, 2021 Rudy Giuliani’s appearance on the broadcast, his comments start at the 17:48 minute marker of episode 631 of Bannon’s War Room
Kash Patel - he’s in it up to his eyeballs
Kashyap Patel was serving as chief of staff to Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller. (Remember he was also a Devin Nunes Staffer too and he and one other Nunes staffer flew to the UK to stalk Christopher Steele - don’t get me started on how long it took me to locate the House of Representatives Travel Expense Report) -but in all seriousness the House Select Committee has tipped their hand. Apparently the Select Committee obtained documents from the DOD that give the Select Committee a reasonable belief that Kash Patel was far more involved with the Security matters concerning January 6, 2021 - remember how long the DOD delay was….
Trump appointed Mr. Patel to this position on November 10, the day after then-Secretary of Defense Mark Esper was replaced.
According to documents provided by the Defense Department and published accounts, Mr. Patel was involved with discussions among senior Pentagon officials prior to and on January 6th, 2021, regarding security at the Capitol, and told a reporter that he was talking to Mr. Meadows “nonstop that day.”
The Select Committee has previously sought information about steps taken at the Pentagon 2to protect the national security both before and after January 6th, including Mr. Patel’s role and his communications with other Pentagon officials.
It has also been reported that the former President attempted to install Mr. Patel as Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency in early December, but that planned appointment was abandoned after then-CIA Director Gina Haspel threatened to resign.
The Select Committee has previously sought records related to potential or actual personnel changes in the last months of the previous administration, including Mr. Patel’s appointment at the Defense Department and his reported potential appointment at CIA.
Mark “Kenny West” Meadows
I have a few thoughts about the morality of Mark Meadows 3 and it’s not exactly constructive.
…reportedly communicated with various officials at the state level and with in the Department of Justice, as a larger part of an effort to overturn the results of the 2020 election and to ultimately prevent the Constitutionally required Electoral College Ballot certification.
According to other reporting, Mr. Meadows was also in communication with organizers of the January 6 rally, including Amy Kremer of Women for America First.
The Select Committee has previously sought White House records dealing with Mr. Meadows, including his actions and communications and information he received dealing with the results and integrity of the 2020 election.
Dan Scavino
Various reporting suggest — former White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications Daniel Scavino was;
with the former President on January 5th during a discussion of how to convince Members of Congress not to certify the election for Joe Biden.
Prior to the January 6th March for Trump, Mr. Scavino promoted the event on Twitter, encouraging people to “be a part of history.” And records indicate that Mr. Scavino was tweeting messages from the White House on January 6, 2021.
The subpoenas instruct each of the witnesses to appear at depositions on the following dates:
October 15, 2021: Mark Meadows and Daniel Scavino
October 14, 2021: Kashyap Patel and Stephen Bannon
“The Committee is investigating the facts, circumstances, and causes of the January 6th attack and issues relating to the peaceful transfer of power, to identify and evaluate lessons learned and to recommend corrective laws, policies, procedures rules, or regulations,”

On September 21, 2021 John Eastman then provided CNN's Jeremy Herb with a longer, six-page memo, which was dated January 3. This is a far more robust and comprehensive memo than what was originally reported a few days ago. The six page memo details several potential electoral count scenarios. The link to the six page memo is embedded in the following tweet
Rule 502. Attorney-Client Privilege and Work Product; Limitations on Waiver
September 19, 2008, and “insofar as is just and practicable,” all proceedings pending on that date. Act of Sept. 19, 2008, Pub. L. No. 110-322, §1(c), 122 Stat. 3537, 3538.
The New Rule served two primary purposes:
1) It resolves some longstanding disputes in the courts about the effect of certain disclosures of communications or information protected by the attorney-client privilege or as work product—specifically those disputes involving inadvertent disclosure and subject matter waiver.
2) It responds to the widespread complaint that litigation costs necessary to protect against waiver of attorney-client privilege or work product have become prohibitive due to the concern that any disclosure (however innocent or minimal) will operate as a subject matter waiver of all protected communications or information. This concern is especially troubling in cases involving electronic discovery. See, e.g., Hopson v. City of Baltimore, 232 F.R.D. 228, 244 (D.Md. 2005) (electronic discovery may encompass “millions of documents” and to insist upon “record-by-record pre-production privilege review, on pain of subject matter waiver, would impose upon parties costs of production that bear no proportionality to what is at stake in the litigation”).
In summary Rule 502 was enacted to not only proffer clarity but it also served to
“alleviate some of the costs associated with electronic discovery and document production by reducing the risks associated with producing material protected by the attorney-client privilege or the work product doctrine”
Now if you’re wondering why am I randomly talking about Attorney Client Privilege - well that’s easy. Undoubtedly Trump would have tried to use that to some how immunize himself. But here’s the catch —Eastman waived that privilege by voluntarily giving the six page memo to CNN. Whoopsie Doodle…
Now What happens?
Well if I think I know what the House Select Committee is doing - they are trying to investigate and uncover a nexus between; Donald Trump, the Oval Office, the War Room at the Hotel and the thousands of radicalized Domestic Terrorist…again the Select Committees task is singularly focused, follow the facts no matter where they lead. But again I’m completely overjoyed that Kash Patel is solidly in the crosshairs because it was befuddling that in early Spring 2021 it didn’t appear Congress had any appetite to bring in a former Hill staffer… for now we have to wait and see what documents and/or testimony will be produced from these subpoenas. I do think that your expectations should be tempered, here’s why;
I don’t see the Select Committee immediately publishing any documents from these subpoenas
I do think some if not all of the witnesses will try to fight the subpoenas and/or Trump attempting to invoke Executive Privilege
Based on information and belief I would expect some of the witnesses to not only fight the validity of the subpoenas but even if they submit to a deposition,
I’d expect for some of the witnesses to invoke the Fifth Amendment on various questions (swear to god you do NOT plead the fifth, you invoke it on specific questions and it’s not a blanket invocation it is applied to specific questions. And it’s adorable reading the prognostications of some who think they know the judicial system because they have a PACER account. Aww bless their hearts given one person in particular I spent hours walking them through how to use the ECF. But I digress
also to set your expectations I’m in hearings for the majority of the day and I’ve scheduled this article to publish in the early morning hours of September 24, 2021 —if I’ve planned my day correctly I’ll be back on line shortly after 1:45PM. At any rate have a great day and make wise choices…

One of the most significant and overlooked event occurred on July 27, 2021 because waiving privilege better availed the various DOJ employees to be more forthcoming with Congress
I told you that DOD Timeline would be more important than originally thought and hugely problematic for Kash …

November 16, 2018 House Ethics Committee Press Release - https://ethics.house.gov/sites/ethics.house.gov/files/documents/Press%20Release_120.pdf
The November 2018 Committee Report concerning Mark Meadows and Kenny West and the ongoing sexual harassment - which ordered Meadows to pay more than $40,000 back to the U.S. Treasury for continuing to pay Kenny West after he was credibly accused of sexually inappropriate behavior. The report also states Meadows’ “failure to take prompt and decisive action to deal with the alleged sexual harassment in his congressional office was troubling to the committee,” —-Committee members said they were “concerned that Rep. Meadows’s ‘solution’ to the sexual harassment allegations — to cut off all contact between Mr. West and most of his female employees — caused another potential problem. An environment where only male staff have access to the chief of staff risks unequal treatment of employees based solely on sex.” https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/CRPT-115hrpt1042/pdf/CRPT-115hrpt1042.pdf
Again and again you absolutely amaze me! No, all of us! We so appreciate your dedication to documenting, and breaking down all of it for us! This makes me skip...in my mind...Thank you! Hope your weekend is everything you want it to be!
Yes agree. He was bad news in 2016
