There are a couple of threads that now appear to connect - when I published the July & August 2019 Affidavit that was me literally low key saying;

Again the 2019 Affidavit unquestionably shows that the Government had more than enough evidence to charge Al Malik Alshahhi -hence why the Criminal Complaint and Affidavits were “limited unsealing” on at least one previous occasion. But it was also abundantly clear evidence (in the June 2019 affidavit) that the Government did in fact have enough evidence to charge both Grimes and Barrack in 2019 yet they didn’t seek an indictment until July 2021.

It is not uncommon that when a new administration is sworn in -the various US Attorneys tender their resignation(s). Again that’s SOP and expected. But I’d like to walk you through the various turnover at the USAO-EDNY. Specifically June 2020
January 3, 2018 Attorney General Jeff Sessions Appoints Richard P. Donoghue as Interim United States Attorney for the Eastern District Of New York
On June 10, 2020 - Attorney General William P. Barr Announces the Appointment of Richard P. Donoghue as Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General; the USAO-EDNY encompasses Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island.. and the announcements that AG Barr made that “reassigned” Donoghue to serve as Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General, the top deputy to Deputy Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen… I. HAVE. QUESTIONS and for the record this is going to be important in the coming months. I can’t tell you why, I’m asking you to trust me on this. Cough Zepeda yes I’m telling you the shit AG Barr did will be unearthed and it will blow your mind because it is far worse than what’s being publicly reported.

March 22, 2021 - Mark J. Lesko Appointed Acting United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York (because if you understand how the FVRA works then you will understand the 1st Officer hierarchy- US Attorney Lesko left the EDNY post on or about June 18, 2021
On June 28, 2021 - Jacquelyn M. Kasulis is the Acting United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York. As Acting U.S. Attorney, Jacquelyn is the chief federal law enforcement officer for a district comprising Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island in New York City, and Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island
So as you can see (by the way all the links embedded in the aforementioned are directly from https://www.justice.gov/usao-edny or https://www.justice.gov) the turnover at EDNY was pretty bad. And look I took a lot of grief in 2018 for daring to say “Bill Barr is not a white knight, he’s going to take a wrecking ball to the Justice Department” that was in 2018. Sadly I’m pretty sure my prediction came to fruition at the peril and integrity of our DOJ - I still standby this recent article History will prove Bill Barr was Donald Trump’s most dangerous enable because I’m telling you right now, none of us know exactly what Attorney General Bill Barr did or did not do - but in my bones I know he did a lot of really dubious and deleterious shit just to protect Trump.

Barrack out on $250Million Bond…
Which runs completely contradictory to what prosecutors filed earlier this week -stating Barrack;
poses a serious flight risk based upon: (1) the seriousness of the charged offenses and the overwhelming evidence of his guilt; (2) the defendant’s vast financial resources and access to a private aircraft on which he regularly travels internationally; and (3) the defendant’s deep and longstanding ties to countries that do not have extradition treaties with the United States. See 18 U.S.C. § 3142.
So this sudden 180 turn is something that is whiplash inducing - yet a Los Angles Federal Judge Ordered Barrack’s release with the following conditions;
surrender his passport
subject to GPS monitoring, an electronic bracelet
a 10 p.m.to 6 a.m. curfew.
barred from making any financial transactions overseas or domestic transactions over $50,000 without government consent, unless it covers legal fees.
Barrack’s co-defendant Matthew Grimes was also released on a $5 million bond

I mean it’s not like I don’t read deposition transcripts several times a week and I’m paid pretty well to do that and highlight tiny details - for example -who knew that Barrack’s Colony Capital and Trump International Hotel…
Below is a cringe worthy exchange - mainly because any time you prepare a witness for a deposition or any kind of oral testimony. We typically instruct the client to listen carefully to the question(s) asked. Take a moment (like internally count to 3) and then only respond to the limited perimeters of the question(s) asked.
Another delay tactic, for example DC Superior Court civil rules 1 of procedure cap Depositions to seven hours per day - is asking for the questioner to repeat the question(s) or feigning you don’t understand the question(s). Whereas in neighboring Virginia Courts, civil deposition have a limit of four hours per day unless the Court grants a request to extend the deposition (which is extraordinarily rare) —similarly Maryland Courts Of Civil 2 procedure also have limitations governing depositions, see WestLaw -again I’m not talking about Federal Rules of Civil procedure
Here you’ll note that Barrack decides to change the question(s) asked about the Trump Organization versus Trump International Hotel. For a lay person most will overlook this glaring divergence in Barrack’s DC Attorney General Deposition of him…
Now another legal tactic is if you have a deponent who’s willing to proffer information that you didn’t actually ask - this is when you sit back and let the deponent just keep talking
So I’m only page 19 into about 800+ pages of the exhibits filed by the DC Attorney General - and I’ll likely do a follow up article tomorrow with excepts from the various Depositions the Washington DC Attorney General conducted during the Investigation into the Trump Inaugural Committee - because the Trump White House with the help of Maggie and Ken truly tried to ruin @SWinstonWolkoff by falsely portraying her as the culprit what happened to the millions in the Inaugural Fund. Ms Winston Wolkoff nearly had her entire life destroyed. Her family was targeted. She nearly lost her decades long career. We owe her a huge debt of gratitude because she stood tall and came with receipts.

What a case that certainly appears as though Barr had pushed aside. Have you ever seen such a deal given to such a flight risk?
